Rey Mysterio Suspended

STAMFORD, Conn. – In accordance with its Talent Wellness Program, WWE has suspended Oscar Gutierrez (Rey Mysterio) for 60 days effective Thursday, April 26 for his second violation of the company's policy.

Damn I didn't expect that, but he must have been trying to cut corners to return sooner. Who knows maybe he has a prescription like last time and will get the strike overturned again.

One would assume he's probably taken something to try and speed up the process of his return, and ultimately, WWE has probably caught him off guard when asking for the piss test. And now he's been suspended for 60 days. And it's surprising, because I never knew Mysterio had failed before. And even more surprising is that WWE has tested him when he's not active still on the roster, as I didn't think they did that. Unless, Rey got cleared to return, turned up to TV whenever, and WWE wanted the piss test to make sure he's clean before putting him back on TV. If it's the latter, then ultimately it was a smart move.

Not every day you see someone get suspended while they're out from injury. Pretty much agree with the notion that he tried to speed up the process of recovery but I just wonder how it went down since I don't know how much Rey has been backstage while being hurt.

Better to test off air guys than on air guys. I know he was part of that big kabal in florida with the doctor writing prescriptions but wasn't sure that had counted.

Oh ffs... hang it up already, Rey. It was bad enough your body couldn't withstand getting injured every 6 months, now it's not even healing quickly anymore.

Since time isn't on his side these days I'd say Rey was getting impatient. Then again its also not his first Wellness failure.

I still think Rey can put on great performances with just about anyone but I really hope this will be his last run, Rey's health is much more important.

I respect WWE for what they do with this drug policy. Keeps everybody in check. And shows that not even one of their top guys are safe. Good job WWE, sucks that Rey decided to do something stupid(If he did in fact do something stupid) and increase his time.

i believe theres videos of cena being tested on his day off so if they test cena they are dam sure testing mysterio.rey cheated and got caught.fuck him.i feel no sorrow for the guy.none.
