Am I the only one who is kind of depressed to see Rey where he is now? I was really hoping he'd be one of the smart ones and call it quits when he should have.

I don't have the numbers and I faceplam half of SAIYANS's post, but I believe this one. Just look at the crowd, if a kid isn't wear Cena armbands then they're wearing a Rey mask. Rey's gotta' be close to Cena in kids merch, it's just not many adults buy his stuff.

CM Punk is #2 by a lot... A LOT.

Mysterio is #3 BY A LOT... like nobody comes as close to him as he does Punk.

As said Meltzer got it from WWEs conference calls and financial reports released to shareholders. Rey still sits at number 3 and has been sitting there in 11, 12, 13 and was at 2 before summer of Punk. He has a massive popularity wave. The only one who moved more merch than him and pushed him to 4 when they were selling his stuff was Rock (who knocked punk down to 3 for a quarter as well). It just makes no sense but to try and keep him when he's been hurt but pulling in that much money.

Love Rey and have a huge amount of respect for him as a wrestler. I do believe it's time for him to go.
