Daniel Bryan revealed in the new WWE Magazine that he has talked with William Regal about possibly becoming his manager.

Thoughts on this?

I think it'd be a good move, I always like to see Regal on TV and both have great chemistry together.

WWE magazine reporting something means almost as little as your sources.

Personally, I don't even think this would be a good idea, and I'm a big fan of both guys. Sure it would get Regal on TV, but what exactly would he even do? I can't see Regal fitting in or working with Bryan at the moment at all. Besides, it might put a damper on Team FRIENDSHIP winning and defending the tag titles.

Far too late in the day for this happen. If it was suggested after he returned from his firing then sure, but now he doesn't need it at all. He can work the mic, work the crowd and he's over as fuck.

You're 100% correct.

It's a hard job for Regal because everyone who manages Bryan ends up outshining him.

Regal should teach him how to cut a promo, but don't let him appear with him on screen.

The point of a manager is to help the guy in some kind of capacity whether it be a character enhancement on the mic, etc. Regal would do nothing for him at this point. As said probably could have had he did while Bryan was still still new to WWE but not now.

Perhaps Regal could be used to show him how to properly groom a beard instead of looking Amish.

Wow, Regal as D-Bry's manager would be incredible.

I gotta say somewhat on topic, that I never thought I would enjoy backstage segments with Kane this much ever. There is serious chemistry with him and Bryan.

With Heyman managing Punk as well its like WWE are now trying to appease the internet all at once or something. I should be excited over this, its the closest thing to any dream-thing between existing talent, but I'm honestly not sure how I feel here.

Regal as Bryan's manager should be fine, I'm not worried or anything. But as others have said, Bryan is so over by now that giving him a manager at this point is redundant at best. My guess is (assuming its true and all that) that Regal will be used to curb Bryan's anger problems.

... You know what, I'm genuinely looking forward ro the comedy segments between these two. I'll wait to see how it plays out if its happening at all.

I am one to say let's just enjoy the magic that will surely happen if this goes down.

It gets Regal on TV which I have been hoping for, and it puts him with his student and one of the top stars currently.

Regal isn't managing anyone not of foreign descent. Mason Ryan.

At the moment it wouldn't work because Daniel Bryan has this really interesting and funny relationship going with Kane. Regal would be a third wheel and it would all be too much at once. I think that Regal as his manager could work especially if Bryan goes back to full blown heel, Regal can talk him up as the wrestling and submission machine and get him back some real heat.

William Regal managing Daniel Bryan would be quite interesting. Regal is fantastic and has excellent ability to work a mic and act as a heel. The only issue with him managing Bryan is that he would have to be careful to ensure he doesn't stop his progression by speaking for him during promos and getting involved in matches. Bryan is already well over with the fans although the only entertaining thing about him is his promos.
