We all have an album or a playlist that you absolutely love so much, that you want to recommend our fellow members to share your taste of music, no matter what genre it is. Whether it's a familiar classic that we all love and also want to introduce them to others for the first time. Or an under-the-radar, less known, independent, etc., album/playlist that's it's so good, that it's a must recommend to everyone or certain people.

This thread is exclusively for just that. If there's a album or playlist that you recommend to all, please feel free to share them here.

Here's the album I recommend to start this thread:

Devin Townsend Project - Epicloud

This album is the first album by Townsend that introduced me to the atmospheric, angelic wall-of-sound and the productive talent that made me a fan of his work. Since then I've listened to 11 more albums by him and his bands. Awesome stuff by him. :)

Strange Pleasures by Still Corners. This is one of those albums that just took my breath away the first time I heard it, it's easily my most played album in 2023. It's pretty much perfect to me. The dreamy, otherwordly sound to it, the mesmerizing vocals, and really nice lyrics to top of off.

The Trip could go down as one of my favourite songs ever. I literally have listented to it every day since I discovered it and I still haven't got tired of it yet.

It's one of those albums that would go perfectly paired with a long car drive.

Stranger in the Alps - Phoebe Bridgers

This is a really lovely album. Phoebe is quite a new artist to me, I discovered her a month or so ago and it was pretty much one of those scenarios where she was everything I was looking for. It was like a light bulb flicking on, and she's quickly become a fast favourite of mine. Incredible voice, amazing lyrics and a lot of songs which feel really deep and meaningful. It has a very cozy, warm vibe to it even though a good chunk of the lyrics can be pretty tragic at parts. There's a lot of great songs to recommend here but if I had to pick three I'd go with Motion Sickness, Smoke Signals and Scott Street.

You should check out boygenius since you like Phoebe Bridgers. It’s her band with Lucy Dacus and Julien Baker, who both very good solo artists as well.

Last night I created a Classic Country playlist listing my personal favorite country songs:

Unfortunately, you won't find any Garth Brooks songs on Spotify, so that's a bummer.

This is currently my favourite album at the moment. So I thought it deserved a place here. I have a feeling it'll be my top played album by the time the year is out and Spotify wrapped drops. I got to say it's rare for me to come across an album where literally every song hits in a special way and hits that 'sweet spot' where you feel goosebumps all over your body. Like, it is honestly perfect. The vocals are really pretty, I love the lead singer of this band, the tracks all have such a distinct vibe. You've got some catchy ones in there and some more mellow tracks, but like everything just works and flows. It is such a wonderfully crafted album from start to finish. 'I Go Out At Night' is my favourite song from the album as I find the lyrics to be amazing and song is like heaven to my ears. It's even better if you watch the music video for it too, as it has a Halloween setting which goes really well with the atmosphere and vibe. If I had to nail down two others for my Top 3, I would go with 'Anj' which has a kick ass sound to it and 'Alien With a Sleep Mask On' which is a really unique song in a lot of ways with a great title. I highly recommend giving these guys a listen and supporting their music. I'd love for them to blow up a bit further and if I can help get them a few new listeners on Spotify or YT, I'd be really happy. They deserve it. Their other albums, whilst I haven't listened to as intently, seem to be really well produced also.

Since I've been coming across tons of incredible albums that I've absolutely enjoyed on Spotify, I've decided to start bringing life to this thread.

I've just got done releasing The Who Sell Out album. Yet, another successful album, very surreal, no bad tracks.

I've absolutely enjoyed the entire album. The lead singer did was fantastic. The lyrics was spot on. Not much criticism to hear. This album's definitely recommended folks.

I'd like to recommend Dead Sara's self titled album. It's been on rotation for me a lot lately. I really am digging it.

This is a band that I have come across because of the new Linkin Park. I can't say that I ever heard of them before but this album is pretty damn good. Overall it has such a great sound and all the tracks flow in each other really well. I like pretty much every song on it and there's a good variety to every track. Emily Armstrong has a great voice and a lot of these tracks are really high-energy and enjoyable to listen to. It's easy to see why Weatherman out of this line-up ended up being one of their most popular songs as it's a total banger and has a great catchy sound to it.

I actually liked the album. Emily's voice is mesmerizing. And it's hard to think that the album was released 11 years ago.
