So, I know most of us would want to see Christian feud with Edge for the Championship and I think some of us have wondered why Christian was put on ECW instead of SD!, Here are my thoughts WWE probably knows that if they had Christian and EDGE on the same show and feuding right now that it would overshadow Hardy vs Hardy, And they don't want to waste the Hardy vs Hardy story line. So I'm thinking that sometime after mania Christian will be moved to SD or both him and Edge will be moved to RAW where they will both be fighting to be the top contender for the WHC or WWE title.... Because I don't really foresee Edge walking out of Mania with the belt, Anyway.... Thoughts?.

I see it like this..... Edge and christian to raw? More hype and commercials and less wrestling.
Edge vs christian on smackdown will have good matches and good promos.
So smackdown it is id like to see them feuding.

Why would Christian be contending for the WWE Title?!?!!? As much as I like Christian, I don't think he's ever going to get anywhere in the WWE becuase he left to go to TNA. Plus, Christian was never a main eventer in WWE when he left, so why would he be one when he returns?

Because he could win the MITB and cash it in. Edge wins and christian wins mitb you never know.

It's a little early yet IMO. He just returned. We don;'t know what show they'll put him on yet, but there's a possibility he'll feud with Edge after Mania.
They probably wanted to establish him as a face on ECW first. After the draft, we'll see.

I loved those random couple times he would mess with John Cena. You can't beat Christian rapping. Vince must have liked Christian a little to have that whole WWE title match at Vengeance 2005. Although he did end up dumping him on SD! short after that.

I see Christian and Jeff Hardy's departures from WWE differently.

Jeff Hardy got fired and dozed off for a year, mainly because of drugs and such, then finally woke up a year later saying "Woah man, maybe I should go to that TNA man! Ohh shit!"

Christian on the other hand got fired and went directly to TNA after he got fired, after his no compete clause expired, just to say "screw you Vince."

As you can see Vince sympathized Jeff way more than Christian because Jeff was so messed up in the head, anyone could get fired if they were on drugs, it's only natural.

There is not going to be any E&C feud anytime soon. The WWE already has a family feud going and I do not think that Christian is ready for the WWE main event scene on a consistant basis, I am a huge CC fan but he is a upper mid carder at best at the moment. I would not mind seeing him in the occasional main event and flirting with a World Title but never getting it much like Kane and RVD. Christian is imo a World Champ in the making but not now, I do not think he will win MiTB MVP or Punk will likely win. But in a year or so I could see him getting a push, possibly in the Elimination Chamber, or the Royal Rumble?

Christian was not fired. He refused to sign a contract extension.

Oh I thought he was part of that day where they fired like 15 people. Looks like I thought wrong.

I was right on the Jeff Hardy one though lol

Honestly, I agree Christian v. Edge is a good angle, and is probably inevidable, but its pretty unrealistic to have a recently returned star go right to the main event. If it was Orton, HHH, Cena alright. They are locales in the main event scene of the WWE, but Christian? The closest he was to main event was a triple threat match used to build Y2J v. Cena.

I'm sure Christian as MITB is a gimme though.
