You can like whatever you want, that's the point that some people are missing. Hell, I have every GLOW episode ever on tape and I like it. What's irritating are these people who think they can tell other people not only WHAT they should like, but WHY they like. It's childish.

People watching AEW... they do not in any way hurt people who like WWE the most. Yet those people insist that they know the inner workings of the minds of the AEW fans more than the actual fans know it. And that is total:

The only person on this earth who can tell me WHY I like something is.. oh wait... who was that guy again... oh yeah! Me!

You know, I could take the low road and say people like that are criticizing AEW fans because they are scared that AEW is an actual threat to WWE. But I won't do that because I don't pretend to know why every other person likes something. The only person who knows is the individual him or herself.

WWE has gone to shit, NXT is still good, but overall meh.

The other promotions are hard to find and/or expensive. AEW is going to screen on free TV in the UK for example. Probably means you can also find it online easily.

WWE used to be good, but I like Wrestling not just WWE. WCW for example was better there for a few years as well and guess what I watched that. I'm loyal to the WWE in terms of its my first love (1988), and I'm willing to give them a chance and will come back to them.

Every now and then I just step away, I like wrestling its not the be all and end all of TV though. Hell did not watch at all between 1999 and 2016. If AEW is good and WWE is shit I'll watch AEW. if they are both good I'll watch both, if WWE is good and AEW is shit I'll watch WWE.

I want good storylines and wrestling without the WWE buffoonery.

I call it as I see it and honestly, your posts on the matter only make my opinion about it stronger. If you don't like it, don't watch. But stop telling other people WHY they are watching. You're really not that special that you can decide why other people do things.

And I didn't say at any point that he WAS telling anyone why they watch WWE. However, he WAS telling The Sheik why he was watching AEW and dissing WWE.

Sorry, bud, that is telling someone why they are doing something. It is the very definition of that.

Okay I am reopening this. reflecting on everything, I think this conversation is actually going to be quite indicative of what we are going to see in the wrestling world for the next few years.
