We've noted before several times how most people within WWE are not looking forward to RAW going three-hours this month and most believe it will be back to two-hours before 2012 is over. When news came out last week of the new "RAWactive" social media features, people backstage were groaning that the third hour of RAW is going to be made up of social media videos from fans and plugs for Twitter and the other WWE social media accounts. In other words, WWE added a third hour of RAW just to focus on social media.

Smarks agreed.

As someone who has been into social media for quite a long time, I had no idea what the hell Tout was. They showed some fan videos on Smackdown I believe and it was guys talking about their favorite raw moments. If its contained to the 1 minute they showed I'd be okay with it. I don't mind the twitter integration they've had thus far as it doesn't really interfere with anything aside ffrom screen graphics and a one off comment by Cole. I don't think it'll bomb because they'll always get desperate fans trying to be "famous fan" ala sign guy. I do hope this whole thing ends quickly.

Twitter was never a pop culture phenomenon it is now back when it started. Obvious statement yes but It was usually people within the technology and nerd industry linking interesting articles or other things and now it's filled with girls tweeting about Justin Bieber. I mean 71 percent of tweets generate no reaction according to a study a year or so ago so you can only imagine its worse now. Twitter can be a great tool if used correctly ala Egypt riots or The whole 99 percent thing. WWE interaction is very unnecessary and I get why people are so against twitter these days as many people are not doing it any justice. I really do hope we get over this fan interaction thing soon.
