I think you guys are reading too much into this. I don’t think he literally meant a 5 star match. He just meant he can go out there and have a good match/feud with anyone whenever you ask him to. Don’t take everything so literal.
I'm not, just giving my take on it. I like plenty of shit he's done, I just also disagree with what he's saying and think we're reaching a point where he's being overrated at lot. Which I get. He got a lot of undue hate for years, so I think now we're just seeing some overcompensation for that. But if I'm supposed to act like he's an absolutely brilliant wrestler who is always having engaging feuds and putting on great (or even really good) matched, then I'm not gonna do that shit.He just had a great feud with LA Knight out of nowhere and had a fucking awesome match with Rollins a few months ago. Don’t be a hater
I think I understood him just fine, I disagree with his assessment of what constitutes a 5 star matchI think you guys are reading too much into this. I don’t think he literally meant a 5 star match. Again… he’s probably exaggerating cause that’s just what he does.I think I understood him just fine, I disagree with his assessment of what constitutes a 5 star match
that's fine lol I'm still gonna give my opinion on itAgain… he’s probably exaggerating cause that’s just what he does.
I mean yeah I mostly agree with that. I think he’s been reenergized this year tbh.that's fine lol I'm still gonna give my opinion on it
Either way, I feel what Hoss said. I think he hated on hard and now the pendulum swung a bit far the other way. To me Miz will always be a fine and extremely reliable midcarder with above promo skills. but his character work has been coasting for 5+ years
he looks more motivated for sure, especially between the ropes. I still feel he's just very...safe about every thing he does and I think if he took more risks with his character it would be more interesting. who knows if that is his choice tho, and I can certainly understand staying in your laneI mean yeah I mostly agree with that. I think he’s been reenergized this year tbh.
I will agree with his point that wins and losses don’t affect his value. He’s going to have a job for life if he wants.
Now, in terms of his in ring work. Today’s fan isn’t going to appreciate as a worker cause he isn’t flashy.
But as a worker, he’s safe, he’s reliable and you could put him anywhere on the card and he wouldn’t look out of place.
In terms of his best matches; I’d say the Ladder Match with Dolph in 2016(I think?) and the Triple Threat with Seth and Balor at Mania in 2018. Also, he worked Danielson at Summerslam that year.
