I'm from winnipeg you idiot
Roman vs Seth, a very high profile match opening the show, I am down for this. Solid match overall, but of course no clean winner here. I guess Fiend vs Rollins is still happening ?. The interference was really cool though.

Okay Bray is on SD, hopefully Seth stays on Raw, far far away. Wow I completely forgot about Drew, glad that he is one of the first picks.

They actually renamed him Shorty Gable, fine job creative.
While I do love the dynamic between Corbin and Gable, enough is enough. This is like the 4th match in 3 weeks. Couldn't let CHAD have the last win could you Vince? Hopefully he doesn't start jobbing now, but with a name like Shorty Gable he probably will.

Orton has been on Smackdown since 2016, so a draft to Raw is a nice change.

Oh Brock vs Cain is on the Saudi show. I am fine with that.

Sorry Heyman you cut one hell of a promo promo, but I can only listen to the same shtick for so long. Rey looks absolutely pathetic in this feud, a translator, really?

Kofi acting like his title reign never happened, lol!

Fun little match between the OC and New Day.

I really like the Fiend, and Banks on Smackdown, but Raw looks better so far.

Yeees Bayley is going psycho, this is what I have been waiting for. I will give them credit, this heel turn has been booked quite well, maybe she can win the title back? Wow she actually did it, good stuff! I guess Charlotte is going to Raw, so we can look forward to Charlotte vs Becky for 1 year!
Does this mean face Sasha vs Bayley on SD?

Wow she is absolutely savage!

Overall the episode had some decent wrestling and a great ending, but it didn't feel that important, or big when it was all said and done. The draft picks really didn't feel that special since they saved most of the big names for Raw. Maybe 5 of the drafted wrestlers were actual main eventers, and the rest were midcard, and even lower midcard guys. I mean Lucha House Party, really?

It's great they are having these opening matches to determine who gets the first pick of the night. Although if it is always going to go "RAW - SD - RAW - SD - RAW" (because there needs to be 3 RAW picks for every 2 SD picks and this is the way you would do it alternating) then the outcome with Sasha/Becky's match is going to be predictable - Becky wins somehow

I loved having the former face of the company face the current one. I also loved the callback to when Seth beat Roman for the title at Extreme Rules I believe when he returned from injury - he countered a Spear into a Pedigree.

The only grating stuff was the lame "execs" looking happy/sad when they got/didn't get their picks. Also the Susan G. Komen stuff but whatever we all knew that stuff was coming, it's nothing new.

Bayley/Charlotte was great and my girl has finally got a new look. Shorty G vs. King Corbin was also good.

The format of the episode was great. Having the panel with Renee, Joe and Booker was great, I always love the panel stuff that happens before the PPVs anyway.

It is interesting to see them separate Seth & The Fiend with the draft... I bet we are getting The Fiend attacking Roman at some point before Mania. How will Rowan and Harper play into this? They will probably get moved to RAW

Ok @Grievous 3D I held my tongue a few weeks ago when you were being a dick, and I said that you applying your own rule to never comment on WWE at all was stupid and you should get rid of it, but maybe you should have stuck to it after just REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEing over the fact that WWE put on a good show that a majority of people like. I'm just going to copy/paste what I had written down as a reply to something you said in the Wednesday Night RAW thread that I decided against posting because honestly I don't want to have to deal with petty drama bullshit over fictional media that is meant to be enjoyed, but you need to be told:

"Whatever. We are talking about the so called 'war' @InsaneAlphaBeta and the attitudes that fans have to this 'war' are relevant.

No amount of Grievs constantly reminding us that he 'can't talk about WWE' is going to make me change what I think, and statements like 'To truly enjoy (& comment on) the WWE you have to sit through every mind numbing, Rusev burying, cringe inducing second.' just shows that he can't do anything in half measures. I really hope when AEW makes mistakes that he doesn't wear blinders, because atm he is viewing everything WWE does under a microscope.

Seth was right, this thread idea was a mistake. At least to allow users to reply to a thread with this theme lol"

You're a tribalist Grievs. We come here because we (hopefully) enjoy watching WWE/the show the review thread is about. You can have your opinion on the show even when you don't watch it but to come in here and basically shit on the show and anybody who enjoys watching it is just abhorrent IMO.

Nobody forces you to come into these threads, there are plenty of places in these forums where we don't talk about WWE. You don't see me walking into the AEW threads and being negative about a show I don't even watch.

Please reevaluate why you are doing what you are doing because atm all you are doing is pissing people off and turning people off from coming on the forums.

I will respectfully dissagree about The Wednesday Night War thread being a mistake, and i know your post was made ahilw ago but it is worth noting he did call out AEW on their screw ups.

I will admit im not too fond of Grievs actions in this regard, i recall him saying hes gonna keep "rubbing salt in the wound" though i can find or recall the exact quote but it was basicly that he (or rather you as you will read this) wasnt gonna stop, to which i was gonna reply (i got no problem changeing that) seeing as i could just kick him from the thread if all eh wanted to do was just that, piss people off.

Which, let it be known, im not okay with, sure you can hate something and not like it and express your displeasure, but to go out of your way to "rub salt in the wound" and purposefully make people mad is where i draw the line and say thats not neccesary.

Oh the "was a mistake" remark was a tongue-in-cheek joke with some truth behind it in that a lot of us knew that things were going to become toxic with this supposed war

Just as the title for that thread was tongue-in-cheek - we can recognize something is happening/going to happen and mock that

I actually didn't mind when Grievous kept posting that laugh emoji after what happened at Hell in a Cell - it was a real "WTF Vince you're drunk" moment - but I understand why others would find it annoying

Yeah, i think we can all agree HIAC was a disaster from damn near every perspective lol

You really should have listend to what bryan Alvarez said in the video Grievs linked, based on everything ive seen you say, dude, you'd 10000% agree with him

I guess, but I just don't think I take wrestling seriously enough to listen to a sorta lengthy video about one guy's opinion that is part of a longer radio show/podcast thing

Also I don't want to hear opinions that are basically the same as mine - that would be boring. That's why I like discussing things with people that disagree with me here - and by disagree I don't include debating in bad faith or being constantly negative about the same topics week in and week out.

Buddy...

If you have an issue with what I'm doing...or what I am saying is impacting your overall
enjoyment of the forum (& wrestling?)...then I don't really know what to tell you.

I wouldn't take anything I say too seriously...

I mean...its just a wrestling forum right?

I mean I love this place & a few of the people in it...but I don't let it keep me up at night...
or effect my enjoyment of the wrestling I actually watch (which at this time is AEW &
nothing else)

I don't really care about pissing people off...& if they have a real issue they can always
use the ignore function. I mean there are many members here who do the same thing
right?

Why am I being singled out?

Is it perhaps that what I am posting is cutting a little too deep for some?

I don't know...

I've never seen this forum as a "Popularity Contest" & I know for a fact there are several
(or more) members here who can't stand me...but you know what? That's fine by me.

Apparently according to an incredibly reliable source I am the most "complained" about
member ever on here...which I actually find quite fascinating.

I mean there are several members on here I have no time for either...so I simply let
them be.

Better to be hated for who you truly are than liked/loved for who you're not.

I'm not personally attacking anyone on here nor do I intend to...(although I will admit I
have done that in the past...and for which I do apologize for my actions...I should have
known better).

I am simply having some fun...and I find making fun of the WWE, SOME of its performers
& yes...even the WWE fans extremely fun. Especially those who seem "blinded" to the fact
that the WWE does not care about them...or what they think...as long as they are subscribed
to the network & buy the merchandise available.

And if you want to walk into the AEW threads & start posting "negative opinions" then
good luck to you.

You're entitled to your opinion...& the right to voice it...

Doesn't mean I have to like it or even acknowledge it.

It won't change my own opinion or my personal enjoyment of the AEW because I'm
steadfast in my support for that company.

The same goes for music or movies...

Did the lastest Godzilla film bomb at the box office? Yes...
Was it a complete mess that made no real sense? Yes...
Did they force too many kaiju into the film to try & make up for the 2014 film? Yes...

BUT...did I still love every second of it?

Yes...without a shadow of a doubt I did & that won't change no matter
what anyone else has to say.

Oh...& for the record...I know the AEW is far from perfect...and has its flaws...
but I still enjoy watching it.

Please reevaluate why you are doing what you are doing because atm all you are doing is pissing people off and turning people off from coming on the forums.
Look...I'm sorry if you can't handle a little "banter" Base...but I'm not going to "reevaluate"
what I am doing...& like I've said...if you can't handle it...use the ignore function and your
problem will be solved.

And am I really putting people off coming to the forum?

I mean...I'm sure my words don't hold that much weight & importance...

I mean...who REALLY cares what I say?

I'm a 37 year old male loser from Australia who likes heavy metal, monster films
& porn. If I'm "getting" to people...then I think they need to "eat some concrete &
harden the fuck up"

Or maybe it wouldn't be an issue if I was praising the WWE instead of constantly
tearing strips off them every chance I get? And lets be honest...they do give me
plenty of opportunities to do that.

The truth is Base...I'm not breaking any forum rules & I think many of my comments have
valid points buried underneath the veil of "Pissed Off Ranting" despite not watching the
shows these events take place on.

I mean...I did earn the "Ranter", "Jokester" & "Euthusiast" trophies on here for a reason.

And frankly I think its insulting to a ask a member of a public forum to "reevaluate"
their actions &/or opinions. That seems a little childish & entitled to me.

But hey...thanks for tagging me & airing out your...Grievances.

:pun:

(I think?)

I'm glad we could have this discussion publicly...because I personally have nothing to
hide & will gladly engage with (nearly) anyone if they have an issue.

Also I think I've been fairly civil in "Wednesday Night War" Thread...but then NXT have
been on the losing side so far...so maybe its not fair I bring that up?

And a "Tribalist? Well...Roots by Sepultura is one of my all time favorite albums...
& I buy every album Max Cavalera is involved with.

I mean...I did earn the "Enthusiast" trophy on here for a reason.
So all I have to do to earn this is trophy is just to rant...well time to steal Grievous' "gimmick" and start ranting about WWE, AEW, NJPW, AJPW, DDT-Pro, NOAH, TJPW, Sendai, Stardom, MLW, NWA, Seadlinnng, Marvelous, and Oz...soon enough I will have it
This is should be obvious, but this a joke.

lmao no you're not living "rent free" in our heads like the kids like to say - for you shitting on WWE to cut deep would require anybody here to be a WWE mark which, except for Beards, I don't think anybody is. You are just being annoying and that's why you are being "singled out"

Apparently according to an incredibly reliable source I am the most "complained" about

Yes, if people are complaining about you then people being put off participating in threads you are in makes sense.

I've made my feelings known but would just like to add that I haven't thought about leaving the forum because of your attitude, someone else told me that.

Its at this moment i feel its relevant to mention, this week, smackdown lost 1 million viewers compared to last week, where they had 3.9 million, this week thay had 2.9 million. Which if you are FOX is horrible news.
