Hey...don't be too harsh...its better than my booking idea...
which would be Bork La$er and Pee Wee Heyman both
quit out of pure shame and then open a florist together
while Goldberg replaces Bork as the top draw in the WWE
and he fights Cesaro at Wrestlemania loosing to him and
finally getting Cesaro over.

See my idea is much worse...

If we were still in the Attitude Era, they would do that.

I gave it a 9/10 the whole event was great.

The Goldberg thing was a shock, but I did not want to see a long match between them and it was a classic Goldberg match. I was holy shit when he won and so fast. He looks great at 49. The Cruiserweight match finish was a it screwy but it was not terrible.

Lots of potential stories to. Who hurt Bella, Bayley/Charlotte Feud, Shield reunion.

Best of the big 4 this year, best PPV this year and just overall great. Enjoyed it.

I'm not sure if I'm disappointed with the show because they didn't do what I wanted or the booking was actually kinda shit. The show really could've used some stakes but either way it was a night filled with some good wrasslin'. Seriously none of the matches were horrible, one didn't even last long enough to become bad. 8/10.

Some thoughts:

Brock jobbing triggered my inner smark for a while until I settled down and realized I don't care. I just don't want to see Goldberg or Lesnar again for a while if at all. They got their payday and Goldberg got his strong win so...fuck off.

The Women's Traditional SS match was filled with some questionable booking choices, the most glaringly stupid one being Nia Jax and her handling. All match she looked strong AF pretty much taking out all of team SDlive herself only then to get eliminated via tapout? She tapped literally as soon as Becky got it locked on ffs!! You're telling me there was no way to keep her looking strong in defeat?
On a positive note, I marked out when Becky and Alexia teamed up against Nia. I'm a sucker for stuff like that.

Kinda sucks that the only two matches with stakes on this card both ended in illegitimate fashion. It was to be expected with the IC title match but Baron was totally unnecessary in the Cruiserweight match.

The Men's traditional SS match was a beautiful clusterfuck and HOLY FOLEY Bray Wyatt won another PPV match!!

Only if it involved a beer/milk truck or women wrestlers
in bikinis getting thrown into a pool of vanilla pudding.

I think her tapping out was okay...but she should have taken a few shots
to the arm to set it up...plus it looked really "weak" when Becky first locked
in the Dis-Arm-Her.

Yeah...that was sweet...

I know...It was Awesome!!!

The only good match was the men's Team Raw vs Team Smackdown match, the others were just shit.

So Vince has put nostalgia over talent again....Goldberg shouldn't have been the one that broke Lesnar's streak. It should have went to someone who could have got a push from the match like Sami Zayn (Underdog story?) or Nakamura or Cesaro or Owens not a 50-year old who came back for one match! Goldberg had nothing to gain and Lesnar had everything to lose in this match. I hate Lesnar but why Goldberg in this scenario? Why WWE why? but other than that, alright show. Women's match sucked, Cruiserweight title was eh because why was Corbin suddenly not injured? And why is Kalisto & Corbin some kind of a on-off feud? Confusion. Tag Match was pretty good imo but the entrances were so long with the promos from New Day and Enzo! Miz/Sami was also pretty good and I think, looking back, I actually liked that ending. But MOTN was definitely the mens tag match. Great Shield moment as-well. 7/10.

I thought the show had a lot of hits and misses, but it was entertaining.

5 on 5 Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match: Team Raw vs Team Smackdown This was decent it was a solid way to start the show. Man Bliss got a great reaction from the crowd, besides that nothing much not surprised RAW won this. Bayley vs Charlotte should be good though, even if Bayley has already pinned her twice on RAW. God I hate 50/50 booking ugh.

Intercontinental Championship Match: Champion The Miz vs Sami Zayn. Good match loved the ending, classic heel outsmarting the face ending.

5 Team on 5 Team Traditional Survivor Series Match Team Raw vs Team Smackdown. Better than the first SS match, but the New Day being the second team out that was odd. Guess D Bryan comments out them were right, happy Cesaro and Sheamus were the last team and won the match for RAW :)

WWE Cruiserweight Championship Match: Champion The Bryan Kendrick vs Kalisto. Meh, I am sad that the Cruiserweight division is not going on Smackdown :(

5 on 5 Men Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match: Team Raw vs Team Smackdown. MOTN, great match really enjoyed it. Happy Smackdown won with Bray Wyatt getting the final pinfall for the team. Please WWE do something with big win please.

Main Event: Goldberg vs Brock Lesnar. Hmm this is tough, I loved the shock factor of the whole thing and the crowd went mental to the finish. But the question has to be asked was Goldberg the right one to win this match after all is said and done. I don’t know if this leads to a WM match with the two then maybe it could be the right call, if not then I am not sure how you can put Brock as an unstoppable monster now. Tricky this is, it all depends on what happens next.

Overall I really enjoyed this show, the best big four PPV of the year for me. Royal Rumble was good, Wrestle-Mania was what you expected it would be in the bad way and Summerslam was disappointing. There were some hits and there were some misses for sure, but I did really enjoy the show. But Takeover was the better show out of the two for me, sorry Survivor Series.

7/10

Im probably generous but 10/10. First 10/10 i think ive ever given. Loved it.

All the tag matches were top notch which i did not expect. The 5 on 5 mens one is a top contender for MOTY. So damn fun, so entertaining, so many little storylines added in, thats everything i love about wrestling in one match. So damn good.

Brock/Goldberg went exactly how i wanted it to go. Fuck a long ass match with the two of them, Brock needed to be taken down a step after all these years and Goldberg embarrassed the hell out of him doing it. Fantastic. Heyman beggin for mercy was too funny.

The 3 hours flew by and there was not one moment where i was bored. It exceeded my expectations greatly, best PPV of the brand split, and if all combined brand split PPVs are like this, then LONG LIVE THE BRAND SPLIT.

Edit: if theres one thing i didnt like its how the IC/CW title matches ended but both the guys i wanted to win won so idc. They were good enough matches where it didnt bother me.

lmao such typical WWE. Build up Brock so he can give the rub of a lifetime when he finally loses... and they have Goldberg squash him. Brilliant

Hopefully this means Brock is fighting full time by next year again. Die slow WWE

Yes! Yes! Yes! Well said...

I thought so...

Yeah...if he can get over the shame of being squashed by Goldberg...

May-be Bork should just quit...do something useful...like drive a
garbage truck...or clean toilets...I'm sure he could handle that.
Die slow WWE
Better to die slowly than in 1 minute and 26 seconds...

I have something for all the Bork La$er fans...

Even if Brock won the match should have been short. Maybe not that short but still.

After sleeping on the show, I have to say that this was one of the best shows of the main roster, this year. Definitely better than SummerSlam. Very bad main event booking, but I'm optimistic it will lead to something different.

It was a good show. 7/10

The women's 5-on-5 match was solid and I wasn't surprised by the outcome.

The Miz vs Sami Zayn was pretty good.

Team RAW vs Team SmackDown was good and fun. Was hella surprised to see The New Day go out first and to have Cesaro/Sheamus as the only surviving team.
And damn, that final homestretch with The Usos and Cesaro/Sheamus was hot. They killed it!

The Brian Kendrick vs Kalisto was good, until that finish came. But, it was anticipated. Oh, well.

Team SmackDown vs Team RAW in a 5-on-5 match was pretty good and MOTN, I felt.
It was a ton of fun, they played well off of angles and man, SmackDown winning was great! And on top of that, Bray freakin' Wyatt and Randy Orton were the sole survivors. It only took 3 years for WWE to put Bray over! :bodallas: Also, loved the brief Shield reunion, but I wonder if Taker will go after Ambrose for almost costing SmackDown the win? All in all, the match was enjoyable and with the right outcome. SmackDown is still the superior brand, despite losing.

Goldberg vs Brock Lesnar was... Well, I don't know what to say. I'm not even upset. I just... Don't care. :quimby:

Also, Rusev's reaction is probably the greatest thing ever:
