As noted above, giving this edition of RAW a perfect 10/10 didn't necessarily mean the show was picture perfect so here are a few notes/thoughts:
a) The announce team just can't help themselves but suck even more week after week. If I were Shane, this would be my first order of business: send all three clowns home....
b) Speaking of Shane, while the opening segment was fine, where excactly is the continuation to the story we were told this past month? I mean, Vince stacked all the odds against Shane, succeeds and then...has Shane run RAW anyway??? Don't get me wrong, I'm all down for it but how does any of this make actual sense? Now, Vince was very specific about this being a "temporary" thing but something tells me there will be more to it. By the way, how come HHH or Stephanie still have no say in this? Then again, who knows, WWE may be working on exactly that so we'll just have to wait and see how things unfold next Monday since one would only assume that Triple H and/or Steph will be back.
c) We all know that Wade Barett is leaving soon but this was such a lame way to have him kicked out of the LON. Not that I care, just saying...
d) Speaking of the LON, what is up with the Wyatts? Idk, this attack felt quite random, don't you think?
e) No Kalisto? Don't get me wrong, I didn't mind NOT seeing Ryback but no appearance from the US champion? I guess that kind of tells you how important or relevant this belt has become...
f) No Dean Ambrose? If the reason was Dean may have been a bit banged up after his match at Mania I guess I could understand it but if not, it felt kind of off him not appearing on RAW...
g) One would think it would make sense for Sasha to demand a one on one against Charlotte since she didn't get pinned during the triple threat and of course was screwed over by Ric Flair. Are they going to try and save it for Summerslam?
h) Enzo and Kass really rocked the house and I most certainly loved the pairing with the Dudleyz...
i) The main event of the evening was simply incredible and the outcome definetely interesting. Now, Roman is clearly going to retain the title whenever this match actually takes place so I guess the more interesting thing here is whether we see Reigns actually making the official turn...
j) So happy to see Cesaro back and hopefully this time around WWE will really utilize the guy properly cause God knows he deserves it already. Now, given that Roman will surely hold the belt for at least a few months and given that Rollins is getting closer to returning, do you guys think Cesaro could be inserted in the IC title picture? Off the top of my head, this sort of seems to make the most sense since KO has dropped it and will have his hands full with Sami Zayn anyway. Thoughts?
