But surely SmackDown has to get some NXT drafts right?

Do you really think Dillinger and then eventually Nakamura and Asuka will all end up on RAW?
Dillinger will end up on Smackdown most likely. Since he isn't seen as a big deal.

Dillinger is considered a solid hand, a guy ment to make main eventers look good. The dude has been a WWE developmental wrestler for just over 10 years.

If you're a NXT main eventer you're going to RAW with almost 80% certainty since Vince considers RAW the main show.

Look at Smackdown now for example, the biggest deals from NXT they got were Becky, American Alpha, Mojo and Corbin. Not a bad cut but nowhere near as the cut RAW got

Fair call...and I see the logic in your statement.
I believe Tye Dillinger could be more than just a "solid hand" but I guess I'll have to wait and see.

Don't forget Alexa Bliss, Carmella and most importantly...Eva Marie...lol

I didn't watch, so it's pretty cool that the review is so good. I'm pretty hyped Joe, and the eventually Sami v Jericho title match. I can't believe I'm saying this... Like at all... But just a small part of me actually wanted Braun to win. I mean, don't get me wrong, a huge part wanted KO to stay champ, but admittedly Braun has gone from worst wrestler 2014 to in my mind one of the best things in WWE. A dominant monster heel is so refreshing to me, especially since most monsters *cough*Rusev*cough* are basically footnotes. I know Lesnar is technically a dominant monster, but he's never there, like ever, Braun is there weekly

Anyways, I'm not voting because I didn't watch, but it actually looks pretty good so maybe I'll check it out on the WWE Network

All the monsters are legitimate monsters till they are fed to 'big stars' like Cena and made to Job. Rusev was fucking awesome till Cena happened :p I wasn't a fan of Rusev but he was a legitimate threat to anyone in the ring.

Big Show and Mark Henry are now what would be called cannon fodder. They didn't always used to be that way. Hall of Pain babeh!

Anyone remember the unbeatable Bo Dallas (albeit not a monster) till he lost to - wait for it - R-Friggin-Truth.

And don't get me started on Kane's booking in the last 5 years.

It all comes down to booking, so while Braun looks unbelievably strong right now and I agree that he went from green as all hell to being a legitimate force, it's only a matter of time before he too, becomes a "monster" instead of an actual monster.

I watched the show, missed the Zayn vs Jericho match but I know that's gonna be an awesome match at WM for the title, Joe on Raw is sad but not a surprise. They are just gonna put all the stars on there and hope if that will turn things around, on the plus side this increases chance for Shinsuke to show up on SDLive after his rematch (or even tonight!).

Rest was... eh. I guess. Might just be the general apathy I feel towards Raw though lol.

6/10. Only because that ending was unexpected. The wrestling was pretty forgettable.

I looked on my twitter to see how Raw was, I gotta agree Samoa Joe's debut came right out of left field right there. He can single handily save RAW.

What we think does not matter. Vince's opinion of a guy is sadly what matters. And he sets his opinion once and rarely changes it. He's had Dillinger in developmental for 10 years and just now brought him up for a crowd pop moment. That tells us exactly how he thinks about him.

See also Zack Ryder for another prime example. Over like rover with both casuals and factions of the hardcore crowd. Good worker, charismatic. Has the great legit backstory of surviving fucking cancer as a kid to become a WWE star. Yet relegated to midcard geek

At first, when I saw Rollins getting attacked, the attacker looked like Kevin Nash, I thought this was gonna be Punk Vs Triple H all over again.
When he turned, I realized it was Joe and marked the f out. Should've been in the Rumble tho.

..."and I guess the biggest dissapointment of all was probably the absence of Samoe Joe...unless the idea is to have him show up on RAW tonight and make his debut there instead. Perhaps an angle with Rollins, as in a hired gun for HHH..? "

At this point, I think it's time we get rid of Meltzer and maybe I take his spot on the Observer cause he may have the "inside info" but it seems to me that he ain't got shit as far as insight is concerned. Hey, fuck it, maybe I'll do an Observer of my own, lol...

In all seriousness though, while I understand the dissapointment of having Samoe Joe on RAW instead of SD (I too figured he'd be a better fit on the blue brand), I personally made my "peace" with the idea as soon as I heard HHH's little promo during NXT on that Facebook exclusive. It was as clear as day that by uttering the word "destroyer", Joe was coming to RAW so all in all, it wasn't really hard to figure out. I guess the bright side is that the presence of Joe on RAW adds an extra reason for us to tune in but then again, who are we really fooling here?

I mean, look at the rest of the show. Boring promos, Stephanie blah blah blah, Enzo & Cass still a comedy act and, of course, the big obsession, the Roman Reigns saga. Like it was hard to figure out he'd interfere and cost Strowman the match. But wait, that was not all, oh no no no. Gof forbid Roman had to look strong (for the trillionth time) so let's make Strowman look like....Ellsworth, shall we? Sure, good job WWE....

So let me get this straight. Are they setting up Roman versus Strowman at Fastlane? And is Roman going over, being the first to defeat the monster? And then what? Roman versus the Undertaker at Mania? And Roman will go over again? Well then I guess on RAW after Mania we shall all line up on the ramp, pull our pants down and have Roman come out and fuck us all one by one.

What more will it take for WWE to understand that this shit with Roman Reigns has to end? Just two nights ago, you had 50.000+ fans at the Rumble chanting "this is bullshit" when Roman came out at #30; and yes, Dunn, you can toy all you want with the sound but we all heard it loud and clear. When is enough enough already? Unless Roman is turning heel by Mania, here's another FUCK YOU to WWE...

From Roman Reigns to the freaking lack of creativity, this show is becoming more of a shitfeast every week. Look at what has become of Rusev ever since Roman Reigns took the US title off of him. Look at what they are doing with Enzo & Cass. Look at the New Day, whom are fucking around with Titus Oneal after just breaking a massive record. Look at what has become of the Club and how much of a joke they've become, even if tag champs now. Look at the cruiserweights, with the crickets getting louder every week. Sigh....

I got nothing else, really.....:damn:

The show was decent. 6/10

Zayn vs Y2J was good, Aries being a dick to Nese was hilarious, Rollins/Stephanie segment was good, Neville/Swann stuff was OK, KO/Strowman followed by Reigns running in was well done, and the closing segment was entirely great, HHH's promo rocked and I marked out for Joe.

I'm not a huge fan of him debuting on RAW, though, would've preferred him on SD.

As for the rest, it was meh and it's not really worth talking about.
