The problem with this crime is that in most cases, you are damned if you do, damned if you don't. I was 15 and in high school. There is a HUGE chance if I went to the police, they would have thrown it out. The whole school would have took his side over mine, I mean even the teachers liked this dude. I was a no body. Keeping my mouth shut was the best and only option for me. Looking back even now, I would have not said anything. It bothered me for awhile but I got over it and can joke around now, but the damage is still there and it is evident in my relationships. It is a shame that they get away with it. Most people who do this usually do it more then once as well... Which is the saddest part.

Still, didn't know that and sorry to hear it. Nobody deserves that.
I brought it up a few times on here and when the subject does come up, I like to get my point across. It happened 10 years ago, going on 11. I honestly think it is a good reason why I hate the spring time, like on an unconscious level. I was in a bad place for a few years. I made it out. I just like sharing that it happened to me so that the people it has happened to can see there is life beyond it. You can have relationships. You can get married. You can have a normal life. I am not sure if you ever forget it or ever completely trust men/women again though. I don't like men thinking of me sexually or getting that kind of attention from men... When I say this I am called a liar for it but the people that don't know what happened to me, don't understand how I am being 100% honest and truthful. It is easier for me to think as sex as a joke then it is to think of it as a serious thing, if that makes sense. Like on here, when I make the sexual innuendo jokes, I think its my way of taking the edge off of it. I can't, to this day, fully explain why I do what I do or feel what I feel with that aspect of life because it was ruined for me at only 15. For that to be your first experience kinda makes the whole subject unreal.

He was 17 I believe so yeah, he wouldn't have had anything major happen to him. Me, on the other hand, would have been ridiculed by half of the suburb I lived in. Wasn't worth it.

Well I'm glad you've managed to cope with it then.

No but @CM Punk has been trying to get me to watch it for months. That is the reason he calls me Britta. LOL
