Thing about a rape kit is psychological. After being raped, do you think they trust even a doctor to touch them there? They lose insecurity and trust for nearly anybody. And yes, it is a high percentage. I know a good few people who were raped by their family and were not reported, one of them being part of my family. In other news, a rapist is on the loose her on wwef.
Seriously had no idea how few actually get reported, but why? Are people still dumb enough to think a rape kit wont help you get justice? I have to assume quite a high % are family/known to the rapist that go unreported.
I can picture someone like Jonathan taking inspiration from this thread. He'll go out and think "You know what, I'm going to rape someone because D to the Z said I can get away with it". Then he goes out there and tries it, but the woman overpowers him like the little girl he is and then rapes him. He'll come back to this thread and post some witty response like "Today I learned the definition of irony".

Whatever, if he's getting women to rape him I call that a victory.I can picture someone like Jonathan taking inspiration from this thread. I wonder what the female to male ratio of this chart is? As in how many guys are raped. I know plenty of dudes who would volunteer just to get some soooooo..........................Sorry for the creepy title (not really :ksi: ) and I'm not really into making rape threads but I just saw this chart and it sort of blew my mind.

I had always heard that most rapes go unreported but holy shit that's a crazy %
In my mind it was a scene where she found a rusty metal pole and shoved it up where the sun most certainly doesn't shine. But hey... whatever you're into Trip... 1:Whatever, if he's getting women to rape him I call that a victory.
"Oh no, stop.....Ohhhhhhhhhhh I mean don't stop":ksi:
Well I didn't realize raping of guys involved rusty metal poles. My bad. Tetanus shots anyone? In my mind it was a scene where she found a rusty metal pole and shoved it up where the sun most certainly doesn't shine. But hey... whatever you're into Trip... 1:
Yeah in no way do I want to pretend I understand it, but to ignore said event, will never make it go away. I guess I have to be thankful to have avoided such situations.Thing about a rape kit is psychological. After being raped, do you think they trust even a doctor to touch them there? That's what I figure.I never reported it. When it happens, the last thing you want to do is talk about it.
Exactly.That's what I figure.
1.) Reporting it means reliving it not only to tell police what happened but if it goes to trial that is over and over again nonstop thinking about it
2.) So that isn't worth the possibility of getting justice, especially when...
3.) Justice is so often not served in rape trials, even if they get to that point
Hell even if you report it and the guy gets convicted half the time the punishment is a slap on the wrist. So why go through all that trouble to try and have justice served to the rapist when there are potential pitfalls with the process at every turn.
