It'll be pretty lame if Bryan wins the title right away... kind of defeats the purpose of the whole "underdog" storyline lol.

Regardless of how popular the "underdog" is... a storyline that lasts two months or more is pushing it, if all it is is building up to Bryan winning the title.

This is a great storyline though, really working off of Daniel Bryan's underdogness. It's great and entertaining, I don't care that Bryan is beat up at the end of Raw every night, the faces have been on top for every night for waaaayyyy to much. It's good to see the heels actually doing something great in the main event, and having nearly full control.

I thought one of the big problems about storylines these days is that they burned through them too fast, not that they were too long.

Them doing the same thing over and over may be stale but I'll still happily take it over what we were getting before.
At least three people on the show are able to just have this aura of pure dickishness about them... after years of WWE being horrified at the thought of strong heels, this is wonderful. And even though all three of them are in non-wrestling roles (Steph, HHH, Heyman), it's still making their feuds really hot.

Hey, you know those guys who complain about TNA all the time (never hear it with WWE) saying "Why are you giving away PPV matches for free!?" This pretty much disproves it. We've seen this match many times recently and it isn't hurting my interest in this at all. This match kicked ass many times before and now it gets to do that again with an awesome storyline behind it. How can you not love that?

Yeah, I mean, two weeks after Summerslam there were people complaining about it being stale already, come on.

Pretty sure people are getting sucked into it more because of it being the internet darling Daniel Bryan. He got the championship, then lost it to someone who was "meh" with the internet fans, and now seems like he won't win anything. The irony of it is though, it's making them come back for more and more to see when DB will finally get back on top, or get one over HHH and Orton.

It's smart, even I want to see DB come out on top once in this feud, but holding it back this long just builds the anticipation. Yes people are going to complain, but at the same time, they're going to want to tune in to see when their hero comes out on top, since it's not as predictable as the same ole Cena stuff.

My only fear with this rivalry is if Bryan loses I don't want someone else feuding with Orton because then Bryan will lose all of that momentum

Yeah, I mean, two weeks after Summerslam there were people complaining about it being stale already, come on.

It's not so much that the storyline was stale as much as the formula. 20 minute HHH promo saying the same thing, Big Show starts crying, Ziggler gets destroyed, Miz doesn't talk, Orton wins dirty, someone gets screwed over, main event is an unfair Bryan match and the show ends with him getting beaten down. There's a lot of people angry about him getting beaten down again and complaining about this or that, but most on here would stop bitching if they changed up the formula just a little (except for the Miz doesn't talk part. That's fine).

Still, there's no reason to give up on the storyline itself. We (the bitchers) just need to think about it like you guys (the rational people) do, big picture, better than things were before, woo heel heat, yadda yadda.

Plus with the IWC nature of this, them doing something like this to intentionally irritate the internet fans isn't out of the equation either... and would be pretty freakin' awesome.

Let's be honest, people would bitch about anything the WWE does. The WWE could have the best storyline ever, and people would bitch about the one little thing that's wrong. I remember the match between CM Punk and Cena, an amazing match, and all people were saying about it was. "OMG CENA BOTCHED HURRICANRANANANANA LOLOLOLOLO!" Of course that was on Youtube, Faecbook, etc. etc.

Yeah, there's really no poing in complaining about the IWC complaining (and the fact people including myself do this is further proof the IWC complains way more than we should) so yeah.
