Exactly, the Global Warning Tour in Melbourne at the 'Colonial Stadium' (now renamed Etihad Stadium) back in 2002 drew an attendance of over 50,000. Mostly because of the strong card but nether the less, a taping would still draw a decent crowd.

Also, it wasn't a tv taping. But it was taped and released on dvd/vhs.

The main event is an interesting watch to say the least.

Even the recent house shows that they run each year make WWE a heap of money, each gate is over a million dollars which is way more than they get elsewhere and then add to that the merchandise and that amounts to a huge profit. It would cost WWE a bit to ship/fly the equipment out here but they should do it to reward the Australian fans, they definitely wouldn't have to worry about the crowd being loud enough because the crowds are always intense here.

I agree, we Australian fans need to be rewarded and WWE are just milking money from us each year with house shows and expensive prices. I mean, really? $350 for ringside at a house show with a predictable card..

Every house show I have attended here has been really enjoyable but I do wish they would give us a taped show as a reward for 6-7 years of sold out shows.

I remember that moment and it was so crazy to watch. I can't believe that Lesnar still went for the SSP even though he could see that Angle wasn't in position at all. Shame he didn't hit it because it would have been an incredible move to pull out at WM and he used to hit it all the time in OVW.

I agree, for him to hit it in such a big match at the grandest stage of them all would have been incredible. He wanted to do it and add that extra touch, guess he hadn't done it in a while and thought he'd attempt to hit it on Angle not worrying about the distance. I remember reading something where he said that once he got up there, he started to hesitate but ended up doing it anyway.

It would have looked odd if he stepped down and move Angle to a better position, he was probably hoping that Angle would see that he was out of place and would casually roll over to get closer to Lesnar. I still find it impressive that he made it as far as he did. Very lucky that he wasn't more seriously injured from that move because he could have broken his neck.

Yeah, but the ref could have come over and did the thing where they tell him not to, then he could have told the ref to tell Kurt Angle to move. Brock could of made it look like he was taking a long time due to hesitation and they didn't need to focus the camera on Kurt at the time. Show Brocks face so Angle can move.

Lucky nothing severe happened to him.

Found that very interesting that WWE had a Cena sucks shirt for sell at whatever show this was. Funny thing is the people buying this shirt still will only be putting money in his pockets.

It is a brilliant piece of advertising by WWE, it is going to bring in more money and make them and Cena even richer.

I see that they are going to bring out a Wade Barrett t-shirt soon. Not a fan of the design at all.

I wish WWE had an Australian online shop or an actual store here that stocks everything wweshop.com does. Yes I know that you can buy them off wweshop.com from Australia but I just hate the shipping wait. Cant be bothered with it.
