Life after Mathew Knowles seems to be treating a certain Kelly Rowland increasingly well.
For, after notching up her biggest solo hit to date, and landing a spot on the X Factor judging table, the 30 year old has scored a major endorsement deal – courtesy of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.

The ‘Motivation’ singer has joined forces with Hip-Hop mogul to serve as the face of his new ‘Empress’ fragrance. Launching exclusively in Macy’s stores next month, the perfume is the female compeer to Combs’ ‘I Am King’ line.
Of the fruity fragrance, its press release read: “The woman who wears Empress is a force of nature, powerful, enchanting and uniquely feminine. Her presence captivates and her words inspire, compelling those around her to her cause. Men long to be by her side, women want to know her secrets.”
In her role as brand ambassador, the Destiny’s Child alumni will also star in ‘Empress’ print and television campaigns. More power to her!

As previously reported, R&B diva Brandy is just one on a growing list of singers set to mentor on the upcoming reality talent show ‘Majors & Minors’. Now, reports have surfaced that list will include chart-toppers Leona Lewis, Sean Kingston, and Avril Lavigne. The announcement joins previous reports that indicated pop singers Adam Lambert and Colbie Caillat were already tapped to advise on the new talent show.
The show’s concept is based on ‘Majors’ (established acts) acting as mentors for ‘Minors’ (contestants aged 8-16) on their quest for musical stardom. The brainchild of songwriter Evan Bogart (who boasts Beyonce’s ‘Halo’ and Rihanna’s ‘SOS’ to his credits), the show is set to debut September 23, 2011.

Kelly Rowland has confessed to having a "special friend" who she gets "down and dirty" with.
The 'Commander' singer claimed to enjoy an active and healthy sex life, despite the absence of a boyfriend.
"I'm actually single, but you know you have your little things on the side," she teased to The Mirror. "There's nobody I'm dating, but I have a special friend."
Rowland also admitted to regularly going out without underwear as part of her confidence-boosting mission to "feel yummy" every day.
"Don't you ever just like to wear a dress and that's it? It just makes you feel yummy. I like that.
"One thing my grandmother told me is you should feel sexy without anything on," she said. "No make-up, no anything. When I wake up in the morning and I can just take one good breath in my bed, I feel sexy. It's that* simple.
"When I hit 30 I realised things were not going to stay up by themselves. Gravity is going to continue to make its way here, in fact it's here! But now I feel better about my body."
Rowland said this week that she will never "sell sex" in order to help her career.
The X Factor judge's new album Here I Am was released in the US on Friday, and an international version is expected to hit the UK in November.
