Joseph Lisnow fightline.com said:
When Bellator debuts on pay-per-view, it's headlined with two former UFC stars in Tito Ortiz vs. Quinton "Rampage" Jackson. The show is set for early November.

"To have two of the biggest names in MMA headline our first pay-per-view is awesome," said Bellator CEO Bjorn Rebney. "Rampage vs. Tito is a fight I've wanted to see for years, and to have it as our main event on our first pay-per-view is a spectacular next step in Bellator's evolution. They're both re-energized, excited and ready for a war. This will be a great fight."

They meet November 2 from the Long Beach Arena in Long Beach, CA. It's expected to be labeled Bellator 105.

No price for the pay-per-view was revealed, but more details are expected with a special media call set for Monday, August 5.

Ortiz retired a little more than a year ago at UFC 148 as a hall of famer. Jackson finished his UFC contract in January and didn't resign. Both are former light heavyweight champions.

Lolololololol

Please tell me this is a joke.

Honestly, once Tito gets back in the tabloids he'll have 5000 different stories. So which one?

And also I can think of a few much better guys from Bellator to headline their first PPV - Michael Chandler and Ben Askren come to mind.

EDIT: I'm really not suprised about that, Tito will do seemingly anything for publicity and going to TNA will definitely put some money in his pocket. Guess he wasn't so good at being Cyborg's manager if he's having to come out of retirement and do that shit.

What suprises me is that they always said they'd never fight each other, but than again Bellator probably gave them a crap load of money and Tito def. needs it.

I get that it's two recognizable names but damn does that sound like a dreadful first headliner. I'm sure Bellator has plenty of hard working guys that would kill for these guys spot, but they get the payday.

Lol, more like the opposite. Tito needs the money and that's why he's getting his broke ass back into fighting gear 'cause he sucks as a manager. Unless you were insinuating that he jumps on a good deal.

Yeah considering between the two of them they're 0-6 in their last fights. This is a snoozer of a main event between two washed up fighters, what about the Michael Chandler vs Eddie Alvarez rematch? That way Bellator could keep Eddie so he doesn't trail off to the UFC and showcase in my opinion one of their biggest stars. Just another reason why I think Bellator is shitty when it comes to running the fight business.

I'm mostly implying that he's making raping Spike, TNA and Bellator for their money.

He's been doing that since the UFC signed with Spike back in 2005, so no argument there my friend.
