Kyle O'Reilly, Brian Cage, ACH & Zack Sabre Jr. added to the tournament. The field is now half full with plenty of PWG mainstays yet to be confirmed.

In a way I didn't want the PWG champion in the tournament but this is possibly the biggest indy tournament ever so O'Reilly should definitely be in. This thing is insane.

Re: PWG: Battle Of Los Angeles 2014

Gabe announced on Twitter that DGUSA (or EVOLVE? or both?) will be hosting a "secret taping" the weekend of BOLA. Trent, Gulak and Swann all have to pull out now. Fucking Gabe... I guess that also means we can count Ricochet, Fox, and Nese out.

Edit: and it turns out Gabe was fucking with us.

Good to see a lot of PWG regulars get their spots afterall but Kenny Omega makes the recent announcements! So great to hear him coming back for a weekend.

Re: PWG: Battle Of Los Angeles 2014

Two matches have been confirmed for Night 1:

BOLA: Drew Gulak vs. Kyle O'Reilly
Mount Rushmore (Adam Cole & The Young Bucks) vs. Best Friends Of Low Moral Fiber (Trent?, Chuck Taylor & Kenny Omega)

Gulak/KOR should be ace, don't see the PWG champ going out R1 though.

Six man tag looks fun as fuck. Also seems to confirm Cole/Trent/Taylor/Omega will be in tournament action on N2

Wonder how they're gonna do the brackets. 3 brackets of 8 seems to be the most productive way of doing things, although it fucks over anyone on N3 royally.

Takes place late August. Unfortunately, PWG don't do iPPV so you'll be waiting until September at the earliest. Unless you have plans to be in Reseda around that time of course.

Internet PPV, it's risen throughout the last 5 years with independent wrestling companies as a great way for smaller feds to attract a much wider audience.

Unfortunately, many of PWG's talent work for ROH & WWN and are tied into PPV contracts with those promotions, therefore making it pointless for them to run it.
