I sure don't...

If you discount the New Line sequels. Jason's body was finally destroyed allowing Jason's spirit to be freed once and for all.
(He drowned as a child so he never actually grew up.
JTM goes with the actual drowning theory opposed to II-TFC which went with the he never drowned angle.)

I'm sure they thought never say never but it was very unlikely.

They knew they were losing the rights to the franchise and even told the director he had their blessing to "actually" kill him off this time.
