[Chuck Taylor's Grenade]

Thanks to PWMania.com reader Juan for sending in the following recap from CM Punk's autograph signing this past Saturday: You knew there were a ton of people when there were no parking spots even for a Wal-Mart was packed. When you first arrive it's easy to find where they have him, but even then he isn't very protected 2 maybe 3 guys that weren't Wal-Mart employees. He seemed very nice and polite I over heard a couple of the employees say that when he first got there he was gracious to a few fans who were in wheelchairs he knelt down and talked with them a little bit took some pics then they started the line. They had it moving quite smoothly, they were doing a pretty good job with the crowd control. The line went back so far, one of the Charter people cut off the line saying they knew there wouldn't be enough time for everyone. Once 300 rolled around he was nice enough to stay and finish with the line they had left which was maybe around 100 if not a little less. Once he was done they had an entourage of Wal-Mart employees escort him out the back because he didn't really have anyone there with him. Overall seems like a good event Punk seemed very nice and polite.

Well so much for the argument that CM Punk isn't a draw and is an asshole to his fans.

Yea for real when i went to the live show he was giving out autographs and shit...He was one of the few that did...So if that's a dick move...I don't know what being nice is...

and did you see his arguments about Punk only won MITB because Hardy was suspended? Mr. Kennedy, Shelton Benjamin, Chris Jericho, Carlito, Montel Vontavious Porter, and John Morrison were also in the match and each person could have been given the nod to win the match.

Okay, the only thing Romo is good for is that he's a Cowboys fan...and a disgrace to Cowboys fans at that no: but I fucking missed it...I was at a baseball game and I came home and sat down and started watching Raw, watched Kane beat the hell out of Noble...watched...watched.....kept watching, then I see a graphic promoting a match later in the night where CM Punk is holding the World TItle and I blurt out "WHAT THE FUCK!?!?!?" I can't believe I missed it

Actually I've heard a lot about that and him being disrespectful to older wrestlers (in fairness it seems he felt disrespected as well), but I've also read a lot about him changing his attitude. I even read an interview with him about how a kid at an autograph signing said his mom wouldn't let him watch wrestling until she found out that Punk was promoting a straight-edge lifestyle. He said that changed the way he looks at fans a lot.

^ That's a big reason Punk should be pushed to high hell. Making CM Punk a household name will finally end people's perception of the wrestling industry as the 'roided up drugfest of the 80's.

See and Orton went through the same stage in his career...It's a learning stage...and now that he's over that there's no reason he should be held back...but you already know this as your not a complete idiot like Romo...

I wouldnt compare Punk to Orton backstage attitude wise. The only thing negative I've heard abuot Punk is him getting mad at tony atlas for telling him not to wear wrist tape.

Orton's negative reports are WAY more negative then that.
