I get people who diss Punk to make his marks angry, but I genuinely don't understand people who just can not appreciate Punk in some form, even if you believe him to be "overrated". A Punk segment is more or less guaranteed entertainment regardless of his role. It's like Jericho. He could feud with someone I couldn't care less about (like Fandango), but Jericho is just incredible to watch.

Name me someone who is better, Bryan can't hold a candle to him on the mic and in ring it's pretty similar even though they have differing styles. Ziggler is a bumper with little to 0 psychology but still entertaining. A Double can't hang with Punk in full flow, watch their ROH promos as examples. Steen is nothing on the stick compared to him. CM Punk managed to take the WWE mould and have entertaining matches every night as a top face, very few can even do that.

He can have good/great matches, I'll give him that.. but at the same time, I've never had a 'mark out' moment with Punk. Never.

I'll admit that I can get carried away, and try to annoy the marks at times. He's not the worst ever or anything like (Chavo), but honestly, he just doesn't do much for me. I usually end up skipping his promos, and only watch his matches when it's against someone I like.

Most? Do you mean most during his respect gimmick? Pretty sure he was told to drum that into people, and put over the fact his character is obsessed with respect. The best way to put over anything in life, and in wrestling, is repetition. I've never seen anyone legitimately claim or back up any claims of Punk's promos - his best asset imo - of being "redundant". The guy - once again in my opinion - is the best mic worker on the planet, but that part is entirely subjective of course.

Unless you mean all his promos being boring, which is a fine claim to make, but that has a completely different meaning to redundant lol. His promos being redundant would mean pointless pretty much, but I think he puts over any feud he is in pretty well, which is the opposite of being redundant.
