Maybe a strong undercard can save a show, but a weak main event is known to ruin a show with a stronger undercard.

I agree. I just wanted to mention that people walking out may have a motive that isn't just spiting Roman Reigns.

I find it funny that the WWE didn't announce which match would
actually main event Backlash...in fact...do they even do that anymore?

I mean when was the last time they announced a certain match

They announce that the Royal Rumble winner will main event WrestleMania every year.

Granted they don't actually have said winner main event sometimes, but they still say it's gonna happen anyways.

Well...yeah...but I was asking about standard pay per views.

I mean if Brock in on the card he generally goes on last...but
most of the time...it just seems so random.

I mean if Reigns/Joe was for the Universal title...then it would
have made some sense.

According to WWE, WrestleMania has 3 or 4 main-events.. Someone needs to let them know what a main-event actually means.

Apparently Vince was pissed that people left during the Roman/Joe match at Backlash. So I disagree with the not walking out thing. Also the cancelling the network subscription thing. I like other wrestlers in WWE, and enjoy watching them on PPVs.

Care to cite a source on that? 'Cause this is the last I heard about Vince in regards to that:

"...the whole idea that fans were walking out because they were protesting is absurd. Vince no sold it backstage and he chalked it up to the show running late until 11:30. Fans wanted to beat the traffic and kids needed to go to school on Monday. Simple as that. If Vince was upset he sure didn’t show it backstage."
