I get what you're saying about the fact he made a post that didn't really offer an opinion, but that is actually an example to me of something scum would be way more wary of making so early in the game

I get and agree with this but it read as someone who was conscious how his post would look which lines up with your opinion here.

@Evans The past three games my very first posts have been taken massively out of context by 2 individuals and railroaded me both times I was making it abundantly clear that the post was in jest.

As Poyser surmised I'm on here early to try to show an attempt at being active as I stated in the signups that I'll be pretty busy during the duration of this game but hope to remain as active as possible. I've gotten bent out of shape my past couple of games due to the above so I'm going to just take this game as that a game. I'm going to have fun with it. At the end of the day it's a game to be enjoyed.

Hmm I suppose it could be that he wanted to make a joke and then got worried that people would take it seriously.. But I feel like if he made that kind of realisation before he posted then he'd just not post it lol

It's more vibe than anything tangible. Someone coming in and trying to engage and make posts (about the game) early on always strikes me as towny because scum more often than not tend to be a bit twitchy early game and want to take more of a back seat etc. Not a hill I'm going to die on, but wanted to get my FEELINGS out there
