PPV After Riot Act

So Im writing my promo for being GM and was wondering what's the next PPV what do we want to call it. And is this the end of the PWA vs. ACW angle?


I'll edit the name and we can just make this the discussion thread.

Will there be a gimmick to the PPV?

We can move into the Predator division deal if you want...although we've introduced a title every PPV...lol

One of the ideas we talked about is a strange bedfellows tag tourney where things are mostly randomized to maybe build the tag thing.


PWA will be gone by the end of the PPV RIOT ACT. Zack is going his own way and so are the lunatics.

I could have swore I was told it was lasting till the next ppv. If this is the case then I shouldn't mention PWA related in any of my promos.

People are complaining currently about too many tag matches so perhaps strange bedfellows should be held off

True that. If they're complaining, I would agree.

Then, a hardcore PPV?

I don't know why the ppv has to be gimmicked just cause were introing a title.

I'd suggest no gimmick PPV as well. Let's try to only do 2-3 of those a year, so it doesn't become overkill.

I'd also vote no on the strange bedfellows idea. Personally, I always hated booking tag teams when the RPers aren't that familiar with each other because they tend not to interact or worse, one guy no shows leaving his partner out to dry. Also, we already have 5 or 6 teams in that division, no need to search for new ones just yet.

I do think we should heavily push this predator division though. I wouldn't announce the title until the actual PPV and just use the month to build up 4-6 "hardcore" characters, kinda' like the Edge&Rey/Los Guerreros/Benoit&Angle deal. I kinda' felt the IC belt was a bit rushed, and I'd like to build up the division slowly if you guys would be down with that. I think we should 4-6 characters and work from there, shooting to crown the champ two PPVs from now. What do you guys think?

I'd agree. I mean we haven't even had any "hardcore" matches. Slowly build up and actually establish a division before actually bringing in the title sounds like a good idea.

I'm also not sure if I'd even announce the belt. Perhaps after one of the hardcore matches have John bring out the belt as an owe by the way.

or have one of the hardcore guys start using a specific weapon and then that one weapon (the only time it'd be used would be during one match) and let the guy make it the trophy the thing to take from him in the ring.

I agree with King. But when are people NOT complaining? If it isn't one thing it's another.

I was asking about gimmicks to try and find a name for it based on whatever gimmick it had. With no gimmicks...how bout Hunting Ground? It links to the Predator thing

Also, which characters do we build? My hardcore guy I was planning on introducing at Riot Act. Other than him I suggest:

Vance
Venomous
Multiplex
Zasalamel (if Slim comes back)

Wouldn't hunting ground then be better for the ppv with the title?

Maybe this one is Striking Distance were in striking distance within the predator title then the next ppv it's hunting ground and someone gets the belt

I agree that Hunting Ground should be the one with the title. Striking Distance is not bad, but let me get back to you. Right now it's early and I'm sleepy and getting ready to hit the beach

I like Striking Distance and Hunting Ground, but I'll let you guys throw around names. I'm horrible at naming things haha.

Here's my list of 6 that I'd push in intertwining feuds for the next month:
Andrew Reynolds
Baz (Pete's guy)
Kid Krazy
Venomous/Vance (Lose of Riot Act match)
Multiplex
Brandon Banks (I think this is the guy we push. Damn good RPer, killer attitude from my few chats with him. I fairly doubt he no shows ever, and that's what we need).
Ideally, we could push the notion of hardcore early without revealing the title, Vance if he loses the contendership or Baz would be perfect since Pete and I could control them and steer the division where we want it.

That would leave IC looking something like
Vance/Venomous (Winner of Riot Act match)
Jacqui
Raiden Blaze
Solomon White
Aaron Asterisk
Sammi Sensation (Not sure the exact name here)
