Randy Orton versus Sheamus at SummerSlam is what WWE officials have been thinking about for the August classic according to F4Wonline.com.

One of the two men would likely be making a heel turn in the summer to set this match up. Orton has been talked about and rumored to turn heel for quite some time.

Speaking of Randy Orton, we saw him bring out the punt kick on Big Show at Extreme Rules. It does seem like that was a special situation given the theme of the pay-per-view and his opponent. Orton isn't expected to begin using that again regularly in matches.
if i remember right their matches together sucked.

I agree with punk their matches have never been special but that was 2010 when Sheamus was just shoved into the main event, I think he’s learnt a few new tricks and I’m willing to not shit on it before it’s even happen.

I can't wait to see it happen and think the guys will put on a great showing. They've both come on absolute leaps and bounds since then especially in their ring work so I have no reason to believe the match won't deliver. They've also done whether it was a conscious decision or not, a fantastic job of keeping these guys away from facing each other or having physical confrontation so by the time the match comes around it will be pretty fresh. My only worry will be that they won't be given a chance by the IWC given how they're generally regarded.

I'm surprised it didn't end up being booked for Wrestlemania. I stand by what I said back then that at this stage, Randy and Sheamus would be ideal opponents. Randy working heel is probably the way most of us want it as well.

So it's something I'm looking forward to but as usual, the amount I end up giving a shit depends on how much effort WWE puts into building the fued.

I'm happy with this. Their matches in 2010 weren't so great, but Sheamus also wasn't so great. The build-up would be good, and I expect the match to deliver alright.

I'll be happy with this, as long as they finally turn Orton heel.

Agree with the views that Shamus has improved a lot since 2010 and their matches could now be better, but still I would like to see fresh feuds for both.

Both have over moves, throw that throughout the match a few times and it would look epic in the crowds minds. Established stars with established moves keep the crowd eating out of heir hands, which we could've seen after Mania if it wasn't for those dickhead snarks who decided to get themselves over

instead of enjoying a fresh matchup.

As I said.

The Payback poster and promo at the Extreme Rules PPV gave me a strong indication that Randy Orton will show his true colors sometime after, during or before the PPV.

Sheamus as a face and Randy as a heel. This is a feud that the WWE needs. Two main event guys who aren't currently challenging for a Title in a high intensity feud. Keeps them relevant.
