Possible FCW Diva Tryouts

- There's an unconfirmed rumor going around that top independent women's wrestlers Sara Del Rey and Mercedes Martinez recently received WWE tryouts at FCW.

For those that aren't aware, Sara Del Rey & her tag team partner lost their SHIMMER Tag Titles at an nCw Femme Fatales show last night, the first time SHIMMER Titles have changed hands outside of a official SHIMMER Show. This is leading many to believe that either Sara Del Rey has signed a WWE deal(She was seen on camera on the last FCW show) or Rush has been signed by TNA(She did a Gut Check Challenge in Canada last week).

Would be extremely shocked if this is true as they're total opposites to what WWE usually looks for in Divas, but on the flipside I'd be extremely excited if it was true because the thought of them facing some of the proper Divas would be awesome.

I would be shocked if they hired her but it'd be a similar move that they did with Tara (Victoria) when she came in she didn't really look like a diva and was older then most of the other Divas she ended up wrestling.

Mercedes Martinez 32

Same as above but a latina. Sorry in WWE that means you'll be in a steretyped role. I assume this is just because they want a specific storyline to go down.

I've heard a few good things about Del Rey, I know nothing about Martinez. I'd be pretty excited to see what Del Rey has to offer if they sign her.

- We noted yesterday that top independent women's wrestlers Sara Del Rey and Mercedes Martinez were rumored to have participated in recent WWE tryouts at developmental. In an update, apparently the tryouts came at the recent annual FCW camp where talents pay $1,000 to be evaluated and trained. This is the same camp that WWE referee Scott Armstrong's daughter Kayla Armstrong participated in.

* Sara Del Rey was indeed offered a WWE developmental deal. She is waiting on medical tests to return but the feeling is that she will pass everything fine.

Still surprised at this because she's a great wrestler and completely breaks the WWE mould. I'm guessing that because of how talented she is, she can afford to take this big risk to get a good payday with the WWE because even if she gets released after 6 months she'll still get lots of work.

Gonna laugh if they try to make her all Divaish in bright pink and glitter and call her something like Britney :RUSSO:

Thing is a lot of talented female wrestlers do get sighed by WWE it is just that often for a number of reasons they get wasted. The people behind the scenes who spot the talent are looking for the qualities that can draw money like personaity and in ring skills, it is later than the booking team try to turn them into Divas.

This is a great signing Del Ray is one of the best women wrestlers around along with Khama and AJ they can build the division around her. Have seen a little of Martinez she is not quite as impressive but still decent.

Del Rey was trained by Daniel Bryan so no surprise that she's the best WOMANs wrestler in the world. And if you know me you know I've been a Del Rey fan since i first saw her and is the only woman's wrestler that i really follow so yeah i'm FUCKING PUMPED for this.

There’s speculation among some in WWE that Del Rey may be hired to help train the WWE Divas but that’s not confirmed yet. Either way, Del Rey joining the company is seen as a major move.
