Possible DVDs for 2009

We're hearing reports from within WWE that the following DVD titles are in the works for a possible 2009 release. As everything goes with WWE, plans are subject to change, so take it for what it's worth. The titles:

*WCW: The Best of the Clash of the Champions

*The Andre The Giant Story

*Ricky The Dragon Steamboat

*Ted DiBiase: The Million Dollar Man

*Survivor Series: The Complete Anthology

*Batista: The Animal Unleashed

*SmackDown: 10th Anniversary

*A DVD aimed at kids is also being planned featuring Superstars like Rey Mysterio, Hulk Hogan, CM Punk and others.

The Survivor Series looks badass. Batista's one depends on which matches they put in. LOL at the DVD for kids.

I want to see the Survivor Series DVD. I hope they put all of the best Traditional Survivor Series matches in it, I am really a fan of it. I might also check out the Ricky Steamboat one, I've seen some of his matches in WWE 24/7 plus his famous encounter with Randy Savage at Wrestlemania and all were quite good.

I dont like this whole kids thing WWE is doing with the magazine and dvds....
Well, Im fine as long as the tv aspect is still the same... If they turn that back to family they'll lose ALOT of the audience.
Anyways, Survivor series would be a good one and so will SD because It'll have some clips from its best days in 2002-2005.

I've always enjoyed classic Survivor Series matches so I hope the SS dvd pulls through. Ted Dibiase's dvd should be interesting as well.

Steamboat & DiBiase will both be good cos there careers are long enough top warrant a retrospective (unlike Batista for example)... The longer they leave these things the better.

SD 10th Anniversary will be sweet cos they've had some great matches on there over the years, especially during the era of the SD-six.


I'm still fiending for an Evolution DVD... I can't understand why they've not done one by now... (Unless the story is incomplete and there's more to come... Which I doubt.)

Otherwise, gimme anything that isn't predominantly just a collection of PPV matches.

The one I'm REALLY hoping for (Savage) will never happen.

Hmm Best of: Clash of the Champions would be a cool dvd. Some fun matchups were on Clash.

I cant see Ricky the dragon or Andre being released.

I think Ted Dibiase will, especially with his son coming in. I believe he has a good story to tell too. With Drugs/Life/Finding god.

Survivor Series is like a lock. I'd buy SUmmerSlam before Survivor series.

Batista: ehh, this may be released though

10 years of SD, this would be cool.

I got the WM anothology and Rumble anthology and I want this and Summerslam anthology I love them and I always watched SSeries on PPV every year because it falled my dad's birthday and he would get it because he likes wrestling too.

I think I will pass on this one what good ones can be on it, ? HHH / Batista, HBK / Batista, Khali / Batista, um Taker / Batista a few times and thats about it ? I not get it.

This is a sure I loved Smackdown even though they have like 2 - 3 main eventers and well they were always my favorite....

I am not kid and definately when this comes out I won't be but I might get it for me little bro... He is like 9 and I am teaching him to like wrestling I have shows him a few tapes of old ones.

Well if it is like the RR and Mania DVD Sets then they will have each full PPV on a disc, so they will hae every Traditional Survivor Seies matches.

Plus why ar we getting a batista DVD before rton. randy has done so much more then Batista

I don't think they will put his WM matches in it, they hardly ever do it.

Meh, I onlt want Million Dollar Man and SD! Ten Year Anniversary. SD! one should be badd ass.

As for the Survivor Series Anthology, I'd love to get it. But, my question is.....will they feature matches involving Benoit? I highly doubt it, so theres gonna be about one match on a few of the SSeries PPV's not featuring him. Including Him/Chavo, and the Classic ten man tag matches he was in....so thats pretty weak

They didn't have matches on the Hardy DVD? That really sucks, but I'm a fan of wrestling bios. I'll still get it though.

As for 2009 DVD's, I'm def getting the Survior Series one. I normally get most of the WWE COmpilation DVD's, so it'll be pretty nice to see what they come out with.

Weebo Hardyz dvd does have matches they are extras on the dvds, matt 1 has matt matches like him vs Edge Cage match, him vs Kane. and Jeff dvd has Jeff matches like the recent cage match with Umaga
