That is tough. Like they all have their good points. I mean, what do you plan on trying to catch? I always went with Squirtle just because I find water starters tend to be the easiest to build teams around.

I have no idea how I'm going to build my team this time around, but I'm going Squirtle because it is definitely easier to build a team around it, not to mention Blastoise is an absolute monster.

New Alolan forms for Meowth and Marowak as well.

The new Meowth form is going to be Dark type, and I'd assume Persian will be as well. Honestly kinda hyped for that, and the Marowak is gonna be Fire/Ghost.

Also the Pokedex leak that came out a couple of days ago is confirmed false, so maybe we still have hope for a non-fire/fighting Litten evo. It might still be one with a different name, but... let me have hope. :why:

Maybe consider some of these Pokemon?

Doduo/Dodrio (it is a monster with stab physical Tri-Attack) or Fearow
Pikachu or Jolteon
Nidoking or Nidoqueen
Mr. Mime (get it by catching an Abra and trading it to a trainer on Route 2 after going through Digglett Cave)
Hitmonlee ([HASHTAG]#SuperKickParty[/HASHTAG])
Ninetales or Magmar (the butt head)
Snorlax

But in Gen 1 there are a lot of Pokemon who are good or fun to use

Wow, I don't know what to say anymore. Not a big fan of the sandcastle and the fish, but both the new Alolan Pokemon seem pretty cool.

Pikachu(it's been on every team I've ever had)
Rowlet(ITS A GODDAMN ARCHER)
Ninetails(Majestic, Beautiful, Amazing)


That's all I have for now. I took some Pokemon out because.. Well... Idk.

I'm thinking about Mudsdale though.
You can tell that there was going to be an Alolan Marowak because of the trial leader for fire.

Nah, I didn't do a nuzlucke. I wanted mons like Slowbro and Arcanine which are kind of hard to find and didn't want Zubats and Sentrets.
