Tynamo has no weakness once it's fully evolved, though. Electric type + levitate.

But, it is legit useless in battle until it evolves. Plus its base stats aren't even 300... At least with Joltik it is above base 300 and evolves sooner into a great mon.

For Elektrik, the only good moves it gets by level up is Tbolt and Wild Charge, it misses most the others due to the high level it evolves at, and some of the TM moves I'd lean to giving it are only post game. With Galvantula, I can give it Compound Eyes Thunder, Signal Beam/Bug Buzz, Volt Switch since I am on set battle style, and thunder wave to slow something down for someone else. Plus, right now I could use a counter to Psychic types as I have a fighting type and only one mon who resists it and fires back neutral damage at best.

It's good, but it can't be sprinkled on everything like magic powder. It's only good as pure strips as a side for breakfast. Keep it off pizza, sandwiches, etc.
