Fun Fact: I wrote a University Paper on Black and White before actually playing it.

But I most likely will be playing tomorrow as tonight I need to touch upon a presentation (and some of my final RWK writing tomorrow night probably) but I have an idea for my playthrough.

My first playthrough I will name my trainer Candie (girl, obviously) and my entire team will be named after food items for cuteness/silliness.

Team Idea:

Tepig as my starter which will evolve into a fat but badass Emboar and the little guy will be called Baconator
My first full team member will be Drillbur, later being the Ground/Cold Steel Excadrill and it will be called Chip
Then I will also get a Sigilyph with Magic Guard and that I need a name for (please give me ideas)
Next, a Joltik, later Galvantula and it will receive the name of Gummy
Then, I need a Water-type and it will be Frillish, later evolving into Jellicent and I will catch a female one and name her Strawberry (to avoid being forced to having a male named Pringles)
Finally, a heavy hitter, Axew, later evolving into Haxorus, name needed.

You don't *really* need a water type in White. Surf isn't needed to complete the game.


Sigilyph can be Raisin and Haxorous can Oatmeal.

Also Raisin sounds nice, Oatmeal....idk...

Although I realized that most likely, for the ground type gym, my team will have a lot of problems since Sigilyph is weak to Krokorok and Excadrill's Rock Slide, if Chip is evolved, will be weak to all of them, and Baconator won't like those Ground-type moves.

Soooo....I may need to keep that Grass Monkey on my team and level it up enough to be used in an emergency for that gym. And I will name it Broccoli.

I mean, some people describe cheddar as having a sharp flavor, and Haxorous has the deadly mouth blades, so maybe Cheddar?

Baconator can probably tank a bulldoze or two and kill Excadrill with some fighting type moves. If I was you, I'd swap out Frillish with Seismitoad since it can be caught earlier. Grass coverage isn't really needed for the game from what I can remember. That being said, Lilligant serves the role well and can be used in neutral typing situations for sweeping due to it learning Quiver Dance.

I named my Metang Mechagross and my baby ground donkey thing Mudsmail whenever I caught them. They'll accept it.

I'll beat him so bad, it'd be like I nicknamed him Pork Lesnar instead of Baconator :tough:

After about 4 hours of playing, enjoying it. Candie has two badges and three mons on her team. Baconator is the star, her Tympole Blueberry is showing promise...just Chip is a bit behind since it uses Mud Slap, non-STAB Metal Claw and Scratch.

I ended up swapping out Poliwrath for Lapras. I just went out of my way to pick up Scald for it, and guess what? It can't learn Scald! But you know who can learn Scald?

Emboar.

That's fine, I'll just teach it Surf...oh, of course not, because I have to wait until after becoming champion to get Surf.

This is why God hates Pokemon.
