I'm just saying, I reset my game after finding my first ever shiny because I felt bad that I was going to replace my non-shiny Growlithe with a shiny Growlithe. No, I wasn't a cute little 8 year old, I was 15.

Oh...well...

I'm working on completing the 3rd Gen Dex in my FireRed Version right now... And by completing I mean filling out as much as possible without cheating. I have Emerald for Hoenn Pokemon, and also have Pokemon Colosseum and XD so I can get other normally unobtainable legitimately Pokemon like the Johto Starters, Ho-Oh, Lugia, and even a Jirachi thanks to the bonus disc. Only problem is I can't get the Jirachi unless I have a Sapphire or Ruby, so I need to figure that out. I'm up to about 130 in this FireRed, so we're getting there. If it all works out, I'll have every Pokemon but Mew, Celebi, and Deoxys

I know this is kind of random...but I just want
to send a shout out to @B1skit for trading some
Pokemon with me and helping me fill the Alolan
Pokedex.

I may actually have a chance of getting that shiny
charm...

I still haven't found a shiny pokemon...but I will...

Also...for some reason...you can catch both
midday and midnight forms of Lycanroc in
both Sun and Moon...so I now have one of
each...because Lycanroc rocks!

You can get Surskit at Brooklet Hill at night, and if you have rain dance, you can get Politoad by sos calls in Malie Garden at night

I also have an Archeops that I can breed to get an archen, and I think I have a celestella

Bingo. Find a Poliwag during the night, use rain dance, and eventually it'll call a Politoad

Well...I just spent 45 minutes dancing around a Poliwag
and all it did was call other Poliwags to help it.

Stupid Poliwags!

On the positive news...I only have 2 more Pokemon left
to finish the Dex...

This is when you should learn the beautiful game of competitive Pokemon, especially VGC.

I have heard about the "World of Competitive Pokemon Battling"
and frankly...it has no interest for me.

Breeding, IVs, Leagues...it all seems a little too...intense for
me...plus I'm honestly not that good at Pokemon battling.

I just pick some Pokemon I like...play through the game...and
then move on.

I actually have an A-Team and a B-Team...mainly just because:

"That Pokemon is cool...I'm going to give it a cool name and
it can level up on Poke Pelago!"

This is the first time I've ever completed a Pokedex...and I
only managed to do that thanks to B1skit, the GTS and
the fact I'm currently staying at a house with great WiFi.

I'm actually really happy with Sun because you can get
both versions of Lycanroc in Sun & Moon...so I have 2
Lycanrocs...one of each form both currently at level 80.

Speaking of Pokemon levels...how the hell does anyone
get their Pokemon to level 100? I'm out of rare candies.

Any of them you want me to help you get? I have both versions of Sun and Moon.

Then, after you complete the dex, you can shiny hunt.

There are a few methods to help increase the odds. Check out aDrive, he has a few good videos on it
