Didn't Big Show semi-shoot on Nash on the Rise and Fall of WCW DVD?

Just a little bit more on the situation:
The Wrestling Observer

-- There was a ton of talk internally about the reactions that Booker T and Kevin Nash got at last night's show. They had two of the biggest pops of the night.

-- Booker T signed a long-term deal as noted earlier, but it was planned that he would be a manager who did some wrestling and coaching. But due to his reaction last night and the fact that he can still go, he may get a longer in-ring run. There was talk about programming him with some main event level guys after last night.

-- Kevin Nash signed a short term deal, but they are open to doing more business with him. TV is being rewritten today, and their roles on tonight's show should show if they have any serious plans with them going forward.

the problem is that those pops will dry up quick if they appear weekly.

Nash tweeted this:
As long as WWE will have me in wrestling capacity and my body can handle it, I will wrestle. It’s what I do! Best decision of my life.

When Vince McMahon is the boss and your best friend and his wife run creative and you see each other and hug and there is true emotion…

Contracts aren't needed. I will do whatever I'm asked. I was welcomed back into the Family last night. I wont make mistake of leaving again!

Should have put Booker in the spot Lawler got, facing Miz at Elimination Chamber. Would have been a nice little feud.

As for Nash, why not make him the GM? Booker is obviously better than he is ring wise, so make Nash the manager/part time wrestler role.

What is with the Lawler hate? He has pretty much helped the WWE fill a void with all the names leaving by even working house shows and not missing time with his knee being scoped or a staph infection. He is just getting a thank you for his work and the crowd is 100% behind him. The man will get to challenge for the world title in WWE for the second time in almost 20 years of employment and likely get his first Mania match ever, so you should be slightly happy for him.

It isn't like they have completely thrown Booker or Nash on the back burner, and SD really needs them more than Raw when you see some of the faces they try to throw on their show every week.

Honestly I got no problem with Lawler getting a shot. He isn't embarrassing himself out there and I'm kind of glad he's getting a little spot light for the time being. It'll be done with after Miz beats him anyways.

And sounds like Nash just confirmed that the TNA door closed once the WWE one opened.

Nash did a radio interview on the pro wrestling report and I listened to it, and I see why he went back to WWE.

He said TNA told him he wasn't a draw or essential anymore and offered him less money than he has ever been offered since he starting out wrestling. Nash said then they came calling months later and acting all respectful to talk him into doing the MEM angle for Spike, but they offered him less than he could make on social security because their exact response was they have to pay their rock stars in Jeff, Matt, and RVD.

He signed a Legends deal for games, toys, merch, and dvd. He will also be signing on for an actual active roster deal this week but won't be wrestling weekly while on the deal. He also thanked Vince and the guys in WWE for how they treated him and welcomed him back after all those years of being gone.

Nash also said Booker came back to the back and said he thought someone was behind him about to do a sneak attack for him to get that kind of pop. He also joked that there were as many WWE fans there to greet him and Booker at the airport as there were at a TNA house show. He also said they sent them a car, paid for dinner/wine, and got them secluded rooms to try and keep the surprise somewhat and they snuck them in CIA style. He also joked about the main difference between a theme park and an arena is that you have to do more walking and remember where you put your actual things because it isn't such a small space.

He said he looked around and only really knew Kane, Edge, Cena, Orton, Rey, and Show in the locker room. Then he said that he met Wade and they joked about their tweets. He also said he was shocked how all the top guys all come to the arena in buses and how he remembered that the Kliq and guys used to think they were pimping by sharing a Cadillac, whereas now you are slumming if you got a 40 inch bus instead of a 48.

Also said he chose to come out as Diesel and the reaction and respect he got from the fans and in the back made everyone of his 30 operations worth it over the years.

He also talked about how WWE's production quality is ahead of TNA and even was ahead of WCW's years ago, and that is another reason why the opportunities are limitless there for what they can do to build for a match or feud.

He said point blank what separates WWE from everyone else is that they always evolve and progress regardless of what any specific person or group tells them to do. They stay constant on their business approach and that is why they still are the top company and outlast anyone.

He also said you don't leave Ric Flair behind stranded because without guys like him their would be no business for the young guys to work for. If you are going to punish him, punish him but don't leave the guy stranded.

He also said he would be a manager, announcer, faction member, tag team partner, singles wrestler, GM, ambassador, or whatever they need him to do.

Nash also said Sting would be a damn fool to not come to WWE and face Taker at Mania. He said Kurt's deal is up in August and Scott Steiner needs to blow up one good time so they can do the MEM right.

Said the one guy he would want to work with at Mania is Taker in a perfect work, but this world and scenario isn't essentially perfect for him so he would say Kane, Wade, or Big Show.

He said the rock stars in TNA draw 600 and that the collective WWE band drew 20,000 so he is rolling with being just a member of a band. He also said WWE told him he can honor all of his commitments he made before coming back, but he has a clear schedule until Mania as far as WWE TV is concerned.

Lastly said he wishes TNA all the best in the world because he spent 4 years there, has buddies there, and some of the young guys were good to him. He also said Dixie was good to him and he wishes her to the best but they just don't have the money to allocate between guys right now and it was in their best interests for them to part ways.

Lawler in the title match is a welcome change from Orton.

I could see a Nash & Show vs The Corre type match @ Mania, Nash & Show were in the WWE's nWo weren't they?

Lol wut?

You want some discussion? Lawler is a 60+ fucking year old man who wrestles maybe 1 or 2 matches a year and they've decided to put him in the Main Event of Elimination Chamber when they have guys like Morrison who would 1) put on a much better match 2) has the history with the Miz to make the match seem important and 3) would benefit more from being in the Main Event of a PPV. Instead they go with Lawler, so no, I'm not going to appreciate a guy who I never saw in his prime because that was 30 fucking years ago.

King has worked 10 matches in the past month. It won't be the main event of the PPV. Its not called Elimination Chamber for nothing. King can put on a better match than somebody like R-Truth who was also in that Raw Rumble Match.

Plus who wants to see King in an Elimination Chamber match anyways? Nobody.

Also from a storyline standpoint this makes plenty of sense.

I'm not a fan of R-Truth either and I don't know why you brought him up. I specifically said JOHN MORRISON.

King cannot put on a better match than Truth. Let's not get carried away here. King is OLD.

Who wants to see King in a match in general? Why book him at all for the PPV? Booker T just returned use him instead.

From a storyline perspective this is the only reason why this match COULD work. It's the only thing it has going for it.

as much as i cant stand miz, having jerry fucking lawler go over your champ clean is a fucking joke.

p1 having a go at posting quality is also irony of the highest order.
