- There were rumors going around yesterday that Pirates Of The Caribbean 5 would begin filming in Puerto Rico this November. Disney dismissed the report as inaccurate and insisted that that the sequel is still "in development".

While that was dismissed, moviehole.net reports that Pirates Of The Caribbean 5 is still with the writers, and when they pushed for further information, their contact responded with the following…

Will Turner's story might not be finished…

Orlando Bloom played the role of Will Turner in the first three films, but did not appear in the fourth as he and Keira Knightley's characters were given an ending. No word on if Knightley's Elizabeth will be returning at this time.

At this time, consider this to be a rumor.

Unpopular opinion: 4th film was better than the previous 2, therefore I'll probably see this when it comes out.

They gave those two a proper ending. A cameo performance might be nice but they don't need him again. Maybe bring in somebody to play Henry Morgan probably the most famous pirate after Blackbeard.

I haven't seen the 4th, it seemed too unnecessary to me. Don't drag this series out, please.

This is the classic case of dragging out a series until the critics give it terrible reviews

Making money>poor reviews

Yup. And I don't see how this is dragging anything out. It's not like the second two where there was a continuous story arc. They're just standalone stories now, nothing wrong with that.
