Totally a pessimist. I have the worst luck (usually) and have grown to except it. So I know something shitty is going to happen eventually

I'm the same exact way. Always have been a pessimist. Things have always gone shitty for me. No matter what aspect of my life we're talking about. So, I have accepted my fate

Luck changes. There's no problem at all with you being pessimistic but if you change your mind a bit you can try to beat your luck and start defining your own destiny.

No, no. I've tried, and I am fairly convinced this cannot be done. Which contributes to me being pessimistic.

I think I'm more of an optimist. I have to be for my job and I feel like life looks so much better if you choose to look at the positives more than the negatives.

That could be the issue, whenever one bad thing happens no matter how small it gets amplified as a reason things are crap. I've been there and it wasn't too hard to get out of just focus on the minor wins and not the losses.

She's got a new guy so just say fuck it and head out to a social event somewhere. The best thing about relationships is they're never as special as we tend to think they are go out and find someone better, there is always someone out there.
