To appear to be doing something without actually doing much for one? It's a thing he's done in the past, it's a no effort replication of previous town play. Plenty of benefit for it, seeing as you're reading him town for it.

Mind I'm not reading him scum for it but I don't see anything in it to justify a town read

Lots of people in the thread aren't reading him town for it and wouldn't, so it's a trade between damaging the potential of a mislynch target in exchange for (maybe) a few town reads. For me, it doesn't seem worth it.

I don't recall him pushing noobs that much as scum, maybe he engages them early but I'm unsure on whether he'd go out of his way to rattle them.

Why shouldn't we rattle noobs? They're the least likely to deal well with pressure in the thread, so the easiest to identify the alignment of as opposed to players who it may take days to read. It's like how pushing Reaper/Banez or someone like that you could tell right off the bat whether or not they were town or scum. I think it's a good place to start.

Thing is, that doesn't exactly work on Bradatar of all people. Guy will be hard to read regardless.

Yeah, I thought it was obvious that saying Magic convinced me was bullshit and since I told you I realized what he was likely trying to do, the vote isn't really something I should have to defend any further.

My entry post came 10 minutes into the game at a time where most Europeans were asleep, meaning I would have opened the game the way I did of my own accord without consulting the team, which is especially risky seeing as the whole role business is the source of some of my weaker recent performances. I'll leave deciding whether that is a smart decision for me to make as scum up to you guys.

Okay with that argument in mind, what were your thoughts on Chimps "I trust Magic" reason for following. Do you view that in the same vein as your reasoning?
