They did until Dean flopped in the post Shield days and Seth and Roman outshined him.

I just don't know why they had him never fucking defend his belt lmao felt like he only wrestled in 6 mans and manged Seth and Roman

And when he does defend it, it's against Kane

I get the reason for still pushing Reigns and Rollins but I really feel like from the get go, up to even today, Dean has the best grasp on his own character and an ability to work with almost anything.

They didn't really deal him the best stuff to work with. Pretty much just the AJ feud that was worth a damn.

The sanitized "Lunatic" stuff was terrible especially the constant talk of it by announcers

Which I don't blame him a lot of, I think that's what they thought we wanted

Yeah, what he was wanting to do against what WWE was willing to let him do (aka forcing him to do) ruined what potential he had to be a star for the company

Took WWE bout 5 years to come to their senses with Roman after he was initially rejected as the top guy. Now he's finally doing something truly great in his career.

When he feuded with Seth in 2015 and he looked like a bum off the indies, I immediately saw why WWE went with Seth first and then when I saw that Brock match in 2016, I knew why they then went with Roman.

Kane still halfway moving here at least though

Seth has been super up and down. He too is probably in the best run of his career right now from a character perspective, because WWE can't grasp that a ton of fans are turned off by the "against the odds, valiant face champion" nonsense.
