A mysterious new wrestling promotion has quietly begun production on what promises to be one of the most ambitious projects in the sport’s history. We have learned that the name of the promotion is Parts Unknown Wrestling.

Details remain scarce at this point but we can confirm that it has secured a streaming deal with Netflix. Unlike most wrestling promotions, Parts Unknown will operate in multiple episode seasons with the season finale of each season serving as it's equivalent to a "Premium Live Event" or more traditionally known as "Pay Per Views."

The first season will consist of 15 episodes, all filmed in an undisclosed location.

Early rumors suggest that filming of non-wrestling, plot driven scenes have already begun. No one outside of production has seen the set, and those involved have reportedly signed strict non-disclosure agreements.

The Season 1 roster is expected to be named soon.

More on this as it develops.

OOC: This project is a result of a fantasy draft I did with some of my e-fed friends. I've always wanted to do BTB with some Lucha Underground style/inspiration, and this is what is going to be.

More information is beginning to surface about Parts Unknown Wrestling, the mysterious new wrestling series coming soon to Netflix.

According to new reports, the series premiere will be a two-hour special episode, kicking off the show’s first season in grand fashion. The finale will also receive the two-hour treatment, with most weekly installments running one hour in length, though episodes five and ten are said to be extended to ninety minutes each.

The first episode title has been revealed to be “The Calm Before the Storm."

As for commentary, Excalibur is reportedly set to handle play-by-play duties, with “Smart” Mark Sterling joining him at the desk to provide color commentary. R.D. Evans is said to be involved as a potential authority figure, while Chavo Guerrero Jr. has also been confirmed for a non-wrestling role, though his exact involvement remains under wraps.

[Earth 919]
[Hollywood, California]
[A Few Weeks Ago]

A white silk curtain billows as sunlight spills across a dressing room worthy of a goddess. A dressing room that belongs to none other than Toni Storm, former wrestler turned actress. She leans back in a velvet chaise in a satin robe, one leg elegantly crossed, cigarette holder balanced between her fingers. In her lap rests a script that she has been flipping through.

RJ City, wearing a pressed vest and that practiced half-smile walks over to her with a silver tray carrying a martini glass.

RJ City:
Your afternoon martini, Miss Storm.”

Toni flicks the script closed with disdain and tosses it across the room.

Toni Storm:
“Garbage. Absolute drivel. Who keeps writing these dreadful things? Another superhero film? Oh, how original! Tell me, RJ, who do I have to fuck in this town to get a script that isn’t about a man in a cape?”

RJ shrugs, trying to maintain professionalism as Toni takes the martini, only to toss it toward the fireplace in frustration, glass shattering in a satisfying splash of rebellion.

RJ City:
“Oh come on! That was good vermouth.”

He sighs and then takes a deep breath in, almost as if summoning up the courage to say something.

RJ City:
“Oh… and the director is asking when you’re gonna be back on set.”

Toni Storm (without looking up):
“Tell him I’ll be there when I feel like being there. Art cannot be rushed, darling. I am an auteur, not a clock puncher.”

RJ City:
"Right. Also, he’s insisting on using a stunt double for the chase scene. Something about ‘insurance liability’...

Toni snaps her head up with her eyes filled with fire.

Toni Storm:
"A stunt double?! Do I look like a pussy to you, RJ? DO I?! Toni Storm does all her own stunts! Always has, always will. Tell the director that if he replaces me with some rubber-limbed amateur, I’ll replace him with a lawsuit."

RJ sighs, tucking the fallen pages of the script back together.

RJ City:
“Fine, I’ll tell him. What’s he going to do, kill me? Well… maybe he will. And then where would you be without me?”

Toni Storm:
“Oh my dear, don’t be so dramatic. You're not irreplaceable. I can get another assistant in a minute.”

RJ shakes his head as he exits, muttering something about hazard pay.

Toni exhales dramatically, gazing into the mirror. She is a reflection of perfection but yet there is a weariness to her. She has it all but yet she felt like something… was missing.

Her moment of silence is quickly interrupted by a blinding light Toni shields her face, eyes wide as a female figure steps from the light. She is clad in shimmering gear with her eyes glowing faintly with cosmic energy.

???:
“Greetings Miss Storm.”

Toni Storm:
"Security! Luther! Luther, I told you no fans were allowed back here!”

???:
“Oh, I’m not some fanatic, Miss Storm. My name is Statlander and I’ve traveled a great distance to come see you here today. To bring you an invitation.”

Storm tilts her head, intrigued by still suspiciousness.

Toni Storm:
“Nevermind Luther!”

Her butler stops in his tracks and turns back around, exiting just as quickly as he had entered.

Toni Storm:
“An invitation? Darling, if this is about another comic convention, I’m all burned out on those. But tell your little fan club that I appreciate the devotion.”

Toni rolls her eyes but Statlander simply takes another step forward and offers a soft smile.

Statlander:
“I suppose you could call me a fan… but not really in the traditional sense.”

Toni Storm:
“And what is that supposed to mean?”

Statlander:
“I’ve come to invite you… to offer you a return… to the place where you truly belong.”

Toni Storm:
“Oh my goodness… it’s happening. Luther! Luther! Get in here! I’m finally getting my star on the Walk of Fame!”

Statlander chuckles and shakes her head.

Statlander:
“No.. no… not that, I’m afraid.”

Toni Storm:
“Ugh, nevermind Luther! Nevermind!”

Luther, scurrying into the dressing room once again stops in his tracks and nods his head to Toni before turning and exiting again.

Toni Storm:
“If it’s not that then what could it possibly be. Where do I belong besides the Walk of Fame?”

Statlander:
The wrestling ring, of course.”

Toni laughs incredulously.

Toni Storm:
“Oh, you didn’t tell me you were a comedian, Statlander! That’s rich! Please, wrestling? Been there. Done that. I’ve won every World Title worth polishing. I’ve moved on. To true art. Cinema!”

Statlander shakes her head with a smirk.

Statlander:
“You say that… but I know you quite well, Miss Storm. You can lie to yourself all you want, but you know the truth. You miss it. The roar of the crowd! The rush of the victory. I bet you even miss the agony of defeat ever so slightly.”

Toni’s smile fades slightly as she looks toward her mirror. Statlander takes another step forward, now right next to Toni and her chair. She places her hand on the actress’ shoulder.

Statlander:
“And you say you’ve won every world title… but what if there was something even bigger to win. Something beyond the world itself?”

That certainly gets Toni’s attention as she looks away from her reflection and back toward the other woman.

Toni Storm:
“What do you mean? Go on… you’ve got my attention.”

Statlander:
The Celestial Championship. A prize that places its bearer above gods, beyond mortals. The ultimate crown in the universe of competition.”

Toni leans back in her chair again, contemplating.

Toni Storm:
“Celestial Champion? Above even the gods themselves? Oh my… I must admit… that does have a certain ring to it.”

Statlander:
“Think about it. The films… the fame… they’ll all still be here when you return. But I assure you… this is a once in a lifetime opportunity.”

Kris reaches out, boops Toni gently on the nose. The oddly tender gesture briefly disarms the timeless diva.

Statlander:
“I hope to see you again soon.”

With that, she turns and in a shimmer of starlight, vanishes the same way she had arrived. Toni watches, frozen in awe as she watches the last glimmer of light fade away. Finally she exhales and mutters under her breath.

Toni Storm:
“Well… that was certainly unexpected. LUTHER! Where are you? I need to make some arrangements.”

Elsewhere, on a desert ridge, a beam of light transports Statlander into the sand. She looks up at the pink and purple sky and takes a deep breath before lifting up her arm to speak into a glowing communicator on her wrist.

Statlander:

“Invitation delivered. I just hope you’re right about her.”

“Since the dawn of time…"

"Wrestlers have claimed to hail from Parts Unknown.”

"A place beyond galaxies and gods…"

"Where legends are born, and myths are broken.”

“Now… the veil between worlds has been lifted.”

“From the farthest reaches of the multiverse, warriors, outlaws, and immortals gather…"

"Drawn by a single purpose…”

"To battle before the wrestling gods themselves…"

"And claim the ultimate prize…”

“The Celestial Championship.”

“This is Parts Unknown Wrestling.”

The camera sweeps across a vast underground coliseum carved from ancient stone. Torchlight flickers against towering pillars casting shadows over the roaring crowd encircling the ring. Above the ring, a perfect circular opening reveals a star-filled sky far above, with a single beam of blue light cascading down onto the ring below.

The squared circle itself gleams with gold and teal ropes, encasing a canvas marked with an ornate sigil that feels older than any culture that ever documented its myths.

To the left, monumental marble columns frame a staircase that descends toward the battleground. To the right, a stone temple façade rises, heavy and ominous, carved with cryptic symbols and guarded by ethereal blue flames that burn without fuel. These are the two entryways, the Gates of Olympus and the Mouth of the Labyrinth. Wrestlers will emerge from one or the other.

[Concept Art of the Parts Unknown Coliseum]

At ringside, Excalibur welcomes us in his trademark mask, the mystical glow reflecting off it, while Smart Mark Sterling adjusts his tie, visibly both impressed and slightly terrified by the grandeur around them.

Excalibur:
“WELCOME, everyone, to the beginning of a whole new world of professional wrestling! Welcome to Parts Unknown Wrestling! We are coming to you from an ancient battleground in well... an undisclosed location... only known as Parts Unknown. A coliseum lost to time, rediscovered only to host the most mythic, most dangerous spectacle professional wrestling has ever seen! And competitors from across the wrestling multiverse have been invited to compete.”

Mark Sterling:
Excalibur, I..I don’t even know where to start! This feels like we shouldn't even be here, but here we are. I signed my commentary contract thinking I’d be at a nice, normal arena with air condition and luxury booths. Instead, we are, apparently, broadcasting from a multi-thousand-year-old death temple! And I’ve gotta say, Excalibur... it is BEAUTIFUL. Very unsafe, but beautiful."

Excalibur:
"Well, luckily I happen to know a lawyer in case anything goes wrong."

Mark Sterling smirks, adjusting his tie proudly.

Excalibur:
"And tonight, the legends begin. New gods will rise. Old monsters will awaken. Champions will forge their legacies in stone. We have a massive card ahead including Toni Storm’s long-awaited in-ring return, a main event chosen by forces beyond our control, and revelations that will shape the entire future of Parts Unknown Wrestling. Buck up everyone, because Parts Unknown Wrestling begins... NOW!”

[Parts Unknown Profile Spotlight on Bandido]

Bandido vs. Komander

The first-ever Parts Unknown Wrestling match set the bar high for the rest of the series with a fast-paced, high-flying showcase between two of luchalibre’s best. Bandido and Komander opened with a quick exchange of counters and mirror-image dives, showing early that this would be an athletic spectacle including a rope walk moonsault to the outside from Komander, while a few moments later, Bandido showcased his strength, catching Komander mid move and hitting him with a Moonsault Fallaway Slam.

Midway through, Komander nearly scored the win with a 450 splash, but Bandido kicked out at two. Bandido’s strength advantage came into play as he powered through Komander’s springboard attacks, catching him in mid-air several times for slams and suplexes.

The closing stretch saw a flurry of reversals and aerial counters. Komander went for his rope-walk Phoenix Splash, but Bandido rolled out of the way! Bandido lifted him up onto his shoulders… X KNEE! That move sent Komander staggering into the ropes… and Bandido struck while the iron was hot with the 21 PLEX for the three count victory!

Bandido defeated Komander by pinfall in 14:37

[Present Day]

The scene cuts from the arena to a dimly lit, smoky bar. Country music hums low in the background as Bryan Keith sits alone at a corner table, hat tilted down, a glass of whiskey in front of him.

Chavo Guerrero enters, dressed sharp but looking uneasy. He sits across from Keith without saying a word at first.

Finally, Chavo breaks the silence.

Chavo Guerrero:
“You know who I am?”

Bryan Keith simply nods.

Chavo Guerrero:
“Good. That’ll save me some time. I want to hire you.”

Bryan Keith takes a sip of his whiskey and leans back, putting his arm on the back of the chair beside him.

Bryan Keith:
“I don’t do security. You got the wrong guy. That’s not what I do.”

Chavo shakes his head and laughs.

Chavo Guerrero:
“I know exactly what you do, Mr. Keith. And that’s why I’m here. I need you to find someone.”

Bryan Keith:
You want to hire me? For a bounty? Shit… someone like you can get anyone you want. Why me?”

Chavo Guerrero:
“Because… I know enough about you. I’ve done my research. You see, I need someone who’s got nothing to lose. Someone who needs almost as much as I do. Someone… Desperate.

Bryan Keith leans forward.

Bryan Keith:
“So… what is it? What’s the job?”

Chavo Guerrero:
“Someone took something important to me. Something important to… my family.”

Chavo reaches into his coat and slides a folded paper across the table. Keith takes it and unfolds it.

Chavo Guerrero:
“I want you to bring him to me. Alive.

Keith studies the poster for a long moment before finishing his drink. He sets the glass down with a clink and looks back up at Chavo.

Bryan Keith:
“Guess I’ll see what I can do.”

The camera lingers on the poster of Bandido as the scene fades to black.

Top Flight (Darius & Dante Martin) vs. The Butcher & The Blade (w/ The Bunny)

The second match of the night saw a classic clash of styles, with the high-flying athleticism of Top Flight meeting the brute force of The Butcher & The Blade, accompanied to ringside by The Bunny.

The early minutes were fast-paced, with Dante and Darius Martin using their speed to keep their heavier opponents off balance. Quick tags, springboard attacks, and crisp double-team offense had the crowd behind them.

Momentum shifted when The Butcher caught Darius on a dive and slammed him into the barricade. From there, the bruisers slowed things down, isolating Darius in their corner and wearing him down with heavy strikes and frequent tags.

After a hot tag, Dante exploded back into the match, clearing house with springboard attacks and a spectacular top-rope splash on The Blade for a near fall. It looked like Top Flight was moments away from victory as Dante Martin scored with his 450 Splash onto The Blade… but at the same time The Bunny climbed the apron.

One! Two! Three! The fans counted but the referee was distracted, trying to get Bunny down off the apron!

Confused and frustrated, Dante got to his feet only to be taken out from behind by The Butcher! In comes Darius with a springboard, but Butcher caught him in the air and drove him into the mat with a big SPINEBUSTER! Blade recovered and together they worked together to hit the Full Death (Butcher suplexed opponent onto Blade's knees) and Blade made the cover to pick up the pinfall victory.

Butcher & The Blade defeated Top Flight by pinfall in 11:54

After the match, Excalibur and Mark Sterling noted that The Council of the Unknown, the governing body of Parts Unknown, would be watching matches like this closely in the coming weeks. With championships yet to be revealed, Sterling emphasized that performances like these could determine which teams are deemed “worthy” of future title contention.

[The Pyrralis Desert]

[Present Day]

On the barren, windswept surface of the desert alien world, Statlander’s spaceship stood beneath the pink and purple sky above. Inside, the alien is hard at work preparing it for her continued travels. Her moves are precise as she checks the controls, calibrates the thrusts, and secures the final panels with diligence. The dust of the planet swirls around her as she works.

Her work is interrupted by the buzz of he wrist communicator. She taps it to activate.

Statlander:
"This is Statlander."

???:
"She's arrived."

The voice on the other end of the communicator is distorted to the point that it almost sounds robotic. But she seems relieved to here it. A faint sigh of relief escaped her lips. She looks down at the launch controls.

Statlander:
"Good. Good. Okay, I'll be there as soon as I can. On my way."

With a precise motion, she activated the thrusters. The spaceship shuddered as the engines roared to life, sending clouds of iridescent dust spiraling into the air. The alien landscape blurred beneath her as the ship lifted, slicing through the pink-and-purple sky as exited the world below her.

line-break.png

Arkady Aura stands in the ring with a spotlight on her as she has her microphone in hand. Beside her in the ring is a raised podium draped in deep violet cloth.

Arkady Aura:
"Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome… the appointed voice of the higher powers themselves… the Emissary of the Council, Jeremiah Evans!"

Somber, orchestral tones echo as Jeremiah Evans makes his way to the ring in a suit that looks one size too small. He nervously adjusts his tie and clutches a scroll as he walks down the steps that lead to the ring.

He climbs up the stairs and steps through the ring ropes to join Arkady in the ring. She smiles politely and hands him the microphone.

Jeremiah Evans:
"Th-thank you, Miss Aura. First and foremost, I am honored to welcome you all to the first episode of Parts Unknown Wrestling. On behalf of the Council of the Unknown… it is my honor…no, my duty… to unveil what all who enter Parts Unknown will strive for. Now this is no ordinary championship, my friends. No, not at all. It is also an artifact of divinity."

He steps toward the podium, looking down at the covered object resting atop it He hesitates briefly and then goes to the notes on his scroll.

Jeremiah Evans:
"Ain't she a beaut? A symbol of divine recognition. An artifact of divinity. A mark of those deemed worthy to stand among the wrestling gods themselves.”

Evans grips the cloth, taking a nervous breath.

Jeremiah Evans:
"Behold… the Celestial Championship!"

He pulls the cloth away to reveal the Celestial Championship.

celestial.png

Jeremiah Evans:
"Over the coming weeks, the Council will observe every competitor. Their actions… their triumphs… their defeats… their choices. From that evaluation, eight will be chosen to enter the Celestial Tournament where in the end… one will win this championship and ascend to the level of the wrestling gods. So… best of luck to everyone who…”

The arena fills with golden smoke as a figure emerges from the smoke at the top of the entrance. Penelope Ford appears at the top, dressed in royal garb, her tone regal yet defiant.

Penelope Ford:
"Rise to your feet, mortals. Show some respect!”

She pauses, as if to wait for those in attendance to obey her command.

Penelope Ford:
”Allow me to introduce you… to the goddess herself… She who commands beasts and is the incarnation of fate… The one true heir to the heavens…”

“MEGASUS!”

An explosion of light fills the entryway as Megasus emerges. Her armor gleams with gold and ivory, and upon her brow rests an intricate, ancient winged crown that sits majestically on the top of her head. She walks slowly to the ring with Penelope by her side. Her gaze never wavers from being fixed on the Celestial Championship. Jeremiah Evans instinctively steps back, clutching his scroll nervously.

She reaches and beckons Evans, asking for the microphone. He quickly hands it to her.

Megasus:
"You speak of gods, Emissary… Then speak my name with reverence. Or have you forgotten that before you is someone who has already sat amongst the gods. Someone who has already ascended to the highest of highs.”

She stares at the Celestial Championship longingly.

Megasus:
"I know you know… that the Celestial Championship belongs to me. Or it was mine before. But it was taken from me. By someone unworthy of its power. They couldn’t handle the… magnitude of the weight that this belt comes with.”

She runs her hand along the draped podium, fingers trembling as she gets close to the championship but her fingers stop just short of touching the actual title.

Megasus:
"You think you can decide who earns the right to stand among the gods? You think your Council can comprehend what it means to become one? I was chosen once… not by decree, but by destiny.”

She lifts her chin and for the first time turns away from the title and toward Evans.

Megasus:
"But destiny was stolen from me. And now, Emissary, I will reclaim what was once mine. I will ascend again… so tell your Council to prepare its tournament… because this time, no mere mortal hand will bring me down."

Penelope stands behind her, smirking proudly, as Megasus turns her back to Evans. The pair exit the ring, leaving Evans visibly shaken.

line-break.png

We cut to the interview zone, where Alicia Atout is standing by, mic in hand, the Parts Unknown logo glowing behind her. She smiles brightly into the camera.

Alicia Atout:
“Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time, the one and only, the timeless, Toni Storm!”

Toni Storm sweeps into frame, draped in a silk robe and oversized sunglasses despite being indoors. RJ City follows, carrying a small handheld fan and a martini glass on a silver tray, while Luther looms behind holding her feathered boa with utmost seriousness.

Toni Storm:
“Oh, Alicia, darling, you don’t need to introduce me. They already know. They’ve all been waiting for me… the way people wait for sunrise after a long, dreary night. They’ve been waiting for me for so, very, very long. But wait no longer, because I have finally come back to the wrestling ring after all this time!”

Alicia Atout:
“That’s right, as you mentioned, tonight marks your return to wrestling for the first time in two years, having left for the glitz and glamour of Hollywood. But you’re back tonight, how are you feeling stepping back into the ring?

Toni slowly removes her sunglasses, staring into the camera with exaggerated drama.

Toni Storm:
How am I feeling, Alicia? Ravishing. Radiant. Ready to give the people what they’ve been deprived of for far too long in wrestling. TRUE star power! When I’m in the ring… I may be wrestling but it’s also a performance. One like no other! Award winning! I make pain look glamorous, darling.”

RJ City:
“It’s true, it’s true. She even does her own stunts. But you don’t have to ask me, she’ll be the first to tell you.”

Toni Storm:
“Well, of course I do! Toni Storm does not fake ANYTHING!”

She smirks and turns toward the camera with a playful wink.

Toni Storm:
“And I mean… ANYTHING.”

Alicia tries to regain composure as RJ nearly drops the martini from laughing.

Alicia Atout:
“I guess the big question becomes, who are you facing tonight in the Main Event? All we know is that you’ll be one of two headliners tonight. Have you received any updates on that?”

Toni Storm:
“No, and frankly, I don’t need to. It doesn’t matter to me one bit, Alicia. They are all just supporting cast to me! As for me, I am the main character. This is my glorious return! And Timeless Toni Storm will NOT be denied!”

RJ City:
“She also won’t be rushed, interrupted, or lit from the left side. Just putting that out there.”

Toni snaps her fingers, and Luther immediately rotates a soft light reflector to her right side. Toni nods approvingly.

Alicia Atout:
“Well… it certainly sounds like you’re ready for whoever the Council decides will be standing across from you tonight.”

Toni Storm:
“Absolutely. Now come along my dears, my dressing room awaits.”

Luther drapes the boa across her shoulders as Toni sticks her chest out before strutting off. RJ and Luther following closely behind her.

Ricky Starks vs. Gravity

The third match of the night featured a contrast in styles as Ricky Starks took on the mysterious Gravity. Starks came into the match full of confidence, taunting both the crowd and his opponent, while Gravity maintained his calm, deliberate composure.

Early on, Gravity used his agility to frustrate Starks, hitting a series of quick arm drags and a standing moonsault that got an early near fall. Starks turned the tide by luring Gravity to the outside and driving him into the barricade before taking control inside the ring. From there, Starks slowed the pace, grounding the high-flyer with a mix of technical holds and sharp strikes.

Gravity battled back, connecting with a handspring cutter and a top-rope rana that brought the fans to their feet. He climbed to the top rope looking to finish the match with the Zero-G Moonsault, but Starks rolled away at the last second. As Gravity tried to follow up, Starks caught him with a rake to the eyes before hitting Roshambo to secure the pinfall victory.

Backstage, Alicia Atout caught up with Ricky Starks following his win over Gravity. Starks, still sweating from the match but oozing confidence, smirked as he adjusted his jewelry and looked into the camera.

Ricky Starks:
"You saw it out there, Alicia. I just defied Gravity. And when you defy Gravity, that means you’re above everything… and everyone. And that’s why they call me… Absolute!

Alicia asked what was next for him in Parts Unknown. Starks grinned.

Ricky Starks:
"What’s next? Whatever I want. If the Council of the Unknown is watching, they better take notes, because there’s only one man here fit to be called celestial, and you’re lookin’ at him.”

As Starks basked in his own words, something seemed to shift in the camera’s perspective. The lights dimmed just slightly, and the air seemed to hum with a faint, unnatural energy. Liv Morgan stepped into frame. She circled Starks slowly, a playful but unmistakably predatory smile curling on her lips.

Liv Morgan:
"Mmm… I like what I saw out there, Ricky. Impressive.”

She traced a finger along his chest before pulling away, her smile deepening.

Ricky Starks:
”Yeah? Well you better get used to it because there’s gonna be more where that came from, baby.”

Liv Morgan:
"Oh, I hope so…"

She leaned in close, right up to his ear.

Liv Morgan:
"Just… be careful how brightly you burn. Around here, the brightest stars tend to fall the fastest.”

Liv smirked and walked off, her presence leaving the air thick with tension. Starks watched her go, a cocky grin still on his face with intrigue in his eyes as he fixates on her going off camera. Alicia glanced at him, unsure what to make of what just happened, as the camera faded out.

Elsewhere, we go to the dimly lit chamber of Jeremiah Evans, the Emissary of the Council, which is lined with ancient scrolls, glowing sigils, and flickering candles that cast uneasy shadows across the room. Evans sits at his ornate desk, nervously shuffling papers when the heavy wooden doors swing open with a sharp creak.

Megasus steps inside. She makes her way across the room, each step echoing louder as she approaches.

J
eremiah Evans:
"O-oh, Megasus. I-I think you already made your point quite clearly earlier this evening. They all heard you.”

Megasus tilts her head slightly, a faint smirk forming.

Megasus:
"I know. But what about you?”

Evans audibly gulps.

Megasus:
"You see, Jeremiah… I know exactly how you came to be in that chair. How you came to be the Emissary for the Council.”

Jeremiah Evans:
"That’s… not possible.”

Megasus:
"Don’t be so sure. You don’t think a goddess like me isn’t capable of finding out the truth. About how a puny… powerless little man like you came into a position like this? I am not a fool, Jeremiah.”

Evans adjusts the collar of his shirt, visibly sweating.

Jeremiah Evans:
"L-let’s, uh, keep that between us then, shall we?"

Megasus:
"That’s exactly what I intend to do. As long as I can count on you to be on my side. Do we have an understanding?”

Evans nods anxiously.

Jeremiah Evans:
"Crystal clear."

She turns to leave but pauses at the door.

Megasus:
"Tell me, Jeremiah… this Toni Storm… she’s in your main event tonight?"

Jeremiah Evans:
"Y-yes, yes, the Council approved her spot personally.”

Megasus smiles faintly.

Megasus:
"Good. Then I trust you’ve found her a challenge worthy of someone truly timeless.

She exits, the sound of her armored steps echoing down the hallway. Evans slumps back in his chair, exhaling deeply, his trembling hand reaching for a goblet of water as the candlelight flickers nervously across the room.

Next up, is“All Ego” Ethan Page as introduced by Arkady Aura, who came to the ring with a microphone in his hand. As his nickname indicates, Page was all swagger and confidence as he came out. He entered the ring and was clearly agitated about something.

Ethan Page:
“You know, I find it absolutely disgusting, dare I say… an atrocity… that I, “All Ego” Ethan Page, haven’t been scheduled for a match. BULLSHIT I SAY! Even though I explicitly requested one! Nay.. DEMANDED one! But apparently the mysterious little ‘Council of the Unknown’ doesn’t think I’m worthy of screen time? Please. This is a conspiracy if I’ve ever heard one!”

Page pauses for a moment and shakes his head.

Ethan Page:
“So here’s what’s gonna happen. I’m not waiting for permission. I’m not waiting for the Council to give me the opportunity to impress them. I’m going to take it myself! So I’m issuing an open challenge right now to anyone out there who has the guts to step into the ring with a star the caliber of All Ego. I don’t care who you are… come on down and let me make you famous.”

The crowd buzzed as Page strutted around the ring, arms wide in confidence. That is until the arena lights dimmed and an ominous, thunderous sound filled the air.

Smoke rolled down the ramp as Mortos, a towering half-man, half bull beast, emerged from the shadows. Page’s jaw dropped as this beast made his way down the stairs toward the ring.

Ethan Page:
“Whoa, whoa, whoa! Timeout! Timeout! I said anyone, not a-a horse-man! What is this place?!”

As Mortos stepped up onto the apron, and over the top rope into the ring… Page decided perhaps he was a little too hastey to throw out an open challenge. So he quickly hit the mat and rolled out of the ring! Excalibur noted that perhaps Page has bit off more than he could chew here and was heading for the hills.

One problem…

There was another beast waiting for him.

Luchasaurus was there to stop Page’s exit. He stalks Page, sending him back pedaling now back toward the ring as Excalibur noted that it seems Mortos has some sort of beastly alliance with the prehistoric luchador.

Page gulped as Luchasaurus pointed to the ring as Page shook his head in frustration as he climbed back into the ring, forced to live up to his own challenge.

“All Ego” Ethan Page vs. Mortos

When the bell rang, Mortos immediately overpowered Page, tossing him across the ring with ease. Page tried to mount offense with quick strikes and cheap shots, but the minotaur barely budged. Mortos eventually caught Page mid-air with a devastating slam, followed by a thunderous spear to set up the Destination Hellhole to pick up the decisive victory.

Mortos defeats Ethan Page by pinfall in 5:02

After the match, Luchasaurus joined Mortos in the ring and gave Ethan Page a chokeslam as well for his troubles before the two “beasts” left together.

[Parts Unknown Profile Spotlight on Toni Storm]

The torches around the Mouth of the Labyrinth flickered as the arena lights shifted into a golden hue. A plush red carpet rolled itself out from the entrance. The crowd erupts into cheers as "Timeless" Toni Storm emerged from the entrance, draped in her elegant white-and-silver robe, oversized sunglass, and silk gloves with her chin held high.

Behind her, RJ City scrambled to keep up, fanning her with a handheld fan while offering red-carpet poses of his own. Luther, stiff as a statue, marched behind.

She walked up the ring steps, stopping on the apron to slip her sunglasses off slowly and theatrically. The crowd responded with more cheers.

She slipped off her robe revealing her wrestling attire - a black-and-silver crop top with matching trunks. She looked to Arkady Aura, awaiting her opponent.

The Gates of Olympus flames began to glow a red darker than blood as a monstrous figure stepped out of the shadows.

BRODY KING

Tattoooed from neck to elbow and everywhere inbetween with his face painted in white-and-black warpaint. A silence fell over the crowd while RJ City's jaw dropped as he dropped his fan to the ground.

Excalibur was in disbelief and was surprised that this would be the match that Jeremiah Evans had lined up for Toni Storm in her return to the ring. Brody’s eyes never left Toni as he stomped forward and climbed into the ring. Luther instinctively stepped in front of Toni, only for Toni to gently move him aside with one finger.

She stepped forward.

She tilted her head.

She smirked.

Toni Storm:
"My, my, my... aren't you a big boy?"

The crowd popped with Toni being unintimidated by the Goliath in front of her showing zero fear.

[Parts Unknown Profile Spotlight on Brody King]

Toni Storm (w/RJ City & Luther) vs. “The Hell Hound” Brody King

From the opening bell, it was clear that Toni was overmatched in size, strength, and power; but she was not going to let that stop her. Toni played the wily tactician, darting in and out, using quick jabs and hip attacks to stagger King. She managed to lure him into the corner, hitting a running uppercut and a DDT that rocked the big man. The crowd was solidly behind her thinking that Toni’s grand return to the wrestling ring was heading toward a victory over the bigger competitor.

King caught her mid-charge, scooped her under his arm like she weighed nothing, and flung her halfway across the ring like a ragdll with a violent choke-toss. The impact echoed through the arena. From that moment, the tone changed. The crowd went silent.

From there, Brody King dismantled her. He went to work, methodically picking apart Toni Storm and showing no mercy in doing so. He drilled Toni with powerbomb after powerbomb, each one bouncing her body off the canvas. He dragged her up by the hair only to smash her down again.

Storm rolled under the bottom rope to escape, but King grabbed her by the hair and lifted her back up off the apron and over his head in a Gorilla Press. He ran with her in his arms, and LAUNCHED HER OUT OF THE RING, sending her crashing into the announce booth! The table doesn't break and instead Toni hits it hard, her own momentum bouncing her back off the table down to the floor.

King climbed out of the ring, stalking over Toni as RJ City and Luther tried to come to Toni's aid. Begging for some mercy on her behalf. King responded with a RIGHT HAND to Luther, taking him down. He then barked at RJ... and he elected to just turn and run up the stairs away from the ring.
King wasn’t done. He hoisted Toni by her wrist, dragging her limp body upright, and whipped her full-speed into the steel ring steps. The crack of bone against metal drew a collective wince from the whole arena and she clutched her back in pain.

Brody took a few steps back… stalked… picked up speed…

CANONBALL SENTON! Sandwiching Toni's body between the steel steps and Brody's massive body. Toni was crushed underneath the impact, folded in half. When she rolled out from under the debris, blood was already streaming down her fae from the bridge of her nose and her forehead. She blinked, dazed, smearing red across her cheek as she tried to find the ropes. But King was still right there. He grabbed her by the ankle and swung her into the barricade with EASE.

Back in the ring, Brody finally made a pin on Toni, simply placing a boot over her chest.

It seemed like it was finally going to be over.

One.

NO!

TONI'S SHOULDER COMES UP OFF THE MAT!

Brody stood over her, breathing heavily, staring down at a woman refusing to stay beaten, watching her pulling herself back up to her feet. She gritted her teeth…

Pushed off the mat…

And stood. She was shaking. She was bleeding. But she was standing. She wiped the blood away from her feet and held up her hands in a fighting position.

King rears back and DECKS her with a stiff right hand, sending her back to the mat.

BUT SHE GOT BACK UP AGAIN!

Once again, wiping away the blood…

She fired back with a HEADBUTT!

But King was unphased, taking her by her groggy arm and pulled her into a SHORT ARM LARIAT!

“STAY DOWN” he barked.

But Toni refused.

Somehow, barely conscious, Toni Storm once again began dragging herself upright. Her knees buckled. Her arms shook. Once again… she had gotten back up.

Frustrated with her, King walked over… booted her in the midsection and lifted her up for another powerbomb… but she fought back! Clubbing wild fists to his head before she bent down and BIT HIM IN THE FOREHEAD! She then slipped free and came back down into a TORNADO DDT!

The crowd was alive as Storm, adrenaline-drunk and unhinged, climbed the turnbuckles. She shouted out a manic cry before leaping off the top rope!

But King caught her in midair… tossed her onto his shoulders…

GONZO BOMB!

King pulled her leg up into a cover - Toni’s body was completely limp.

Brody King defeated Toni Storm by pinfall in 8:17

As Brody rose, the arena lights shifted to a pulsing red glow. Brody barked out as the crowd booed loudly.

Penelope Ford appeared at the top of the Gates of Olympus entrance, slowly making her way down the steps with a microphone in hand.

Penelope Ford:
"Brody... your goddess demands more. Finish her."

Excalibur:
"No wait just a minute, Mark. Does this mean what I think it does? Brody King has aligned himself with Megan Bayne... or should I say, Megasus as she calls herself?"

The crowd erupted in boos as Brody turned back toward Toni Storm, still motionless on the mat. Without hesitation, he walked over and grabbed her by the hair, pulling her back up to her knees.

Excalibur:
"Oh come in! This is disgusting! Enough is enough. Someone has to put a stop to this, Mark."

Mark Sterling:
"Did you just see what this man did to her? You think someone wants to get between a demon dog and his food? You don't need a law degree to know that's a severely stupid idea."
King lifted his arm up... but the boos began to turn to cheers...

MORTOS! The beast that had defeated Ethan Page with ease earlier in the evening made his way out from the Mouth of the Labyrinth entrance. And he wasn't alone. LUCHASAURUS was walking down the steps of the Gates of Olympus entrance!

Excalibur:
"Not so fast, Mark! Brody King isn't the only monster on this roster! And it looks like he's about to have to fight someone his own size!"

The fans cheered wildly as the two massive beasts slid into the ring, now standing shoulder to shoulder with Toni Storm between them and Brody King, still on her knees being held up by King's left arm like a broken marionette. Brody stood his ground as Penelope barked orders from ringside.

Luchasaurus and Mortos looked to one another. And then both stared a hole through Brody King.

Suddenly, without warning...

THEY BOTH LIFT UP THEIR BOOTS AND KICK TONI STORM IN THE BACK OF THE HEAD!

Excalibur:
"Dammit! No! They weren't there to save her at all! Are they also working with Megasus?!"

The arena transformed into a roar of boos at the unexpected turn of events. Luchasaurus grabbed Toni by the throat... lifted her up off the mat with ease, only to SLAM her back down with a Chokeslam as Mortos bounced off the ropes and leaped into the air with a big running splash.

And then...

There was Megasus.

She slowly descending down the stairs of the Gates of Olympus. Penelope met her at the bottom, kneeling down at the feet of her goddess before handing her the microphone.

Megasus:
"I see you have all met my... Beasts of Burden."

The reveal was met with more loud boos as she gracefully climbed the ringsteps. Luchasaurus and Mortos each use their feet to bring down the middle rope, assisting her into the ring.

Megasus:
"Well done."

She gave each a pat on the head, as if they were a couple of her pets. She then circled the ring and stopped in front of Brody King.

Megasus:

"And you. My, my, my. You have certainly lived up to your reputation."

Brody King showed no reaction beyond slightly snarling as she turned away, looking down at the unmoving body of Toni Storm.

Megasus:
"And this? This is the Toni Storm I've heard so much. The INFAMOUS.. TIMELESS... TONI STORM? The self described living legend?"

Megasus paused, tilting her head as the crowd’s jeers reached a fever pitch.

Megasus:
"....I am not impressed."

Megasus slowly raised her hand, and with a subtle nod, Luchasaurus and Mortos moved to Toni, lifting her effortlessly. They positioned her in the center of the ring, her head bowed as if she were already kneeling before the goddess herself.

Megasus:
"That's right. BEAR WITNESS! Your star... Toni Storm... in her rightful position. The same position anyone else who crosses me on my way to the Celestial Championship...."

"KNEELING."

"BEFORE..."

"YOUR GODDESS!"

Megasus raised her arms to the roaring ocean of boos, drinking in the fury of the crowd as if it nourished her. Luchasaurus and Mortos tightened their grip on Toni, forcing her further down until her forehead nearly touched the canvas.

Megasus:
"Let her be the example. Let her be the... prophecy. The first... of many. They will... ALL BOW DOWN!"

With a snap of her fingers, Luchasaurus and Mortos SLAMMED Toni face-first down to the mat in unison. Megasus stepped one foot forward, placing her boot onto Toni Storm’s back like a conqueror claiming new land.

The screen faded out to credits.

Just wanted to drop by to say the first episode was a ton of fun. I've missed the Dubb writing style, and although I'll still yearn for the end of WWF 93 from you, this is just incredible to read.

I know how hard it is to create an entire world and brand from the ground up, but you've done so already in just a few short posts. You really should give yourself a pat on the back for accomplishing that in a small window.

I admittedly am not too familiar with some of the roster, but I saw Megan Bayne at a GCW show and really love that she was the focal point of the show.

Beasts of Burden is such a cool name, too.

Keep up the great work, and don't leave us hanging too long in between shows lol!!
