Why do you imagine everything would be more split in this scenario and not consolidated into bigger countries/alliances

Largely because nuclear war would have destroyed a lot of the infrastructure of these nations and so populations would be relatively smaller. With that in mind, militaries would be spread pretty thin even after 200 years.

Fair, I think morbidly I was thinking after the initial almost extinction nuclear events there would be like a few superpowers take advantage and run the world but even if that did happen more war and then being able to dispose of the waste could result in your scenario easily

Started playing some Hearts of Iron IV a while back and I found a really interesting modern-day mod for it. Gonna be playing as Ukraine and attempting to beat back Russian influence :garrett

Nothing unusual folks, just some casual Hearts of Iron 4 modding drama.

"TFR" is The Fire Rises, which is a mod set in the 2020s where everything just goes to shit because of Super-COVID.
