Optical Illusions and the human brain.

Our brain is a very complex, difficult to understand structure but at times interesting.

Recently I got a project on Optical Illusions and this is where I developed interest in this stuff, the power of your brain... is... at times, amazing.

Now for some Optical Illusions;

This dancer is spinning in both, clock-wise and anti-clockwise directions.

Are the horizontal lines parallel or do they slope?

Now ask yourself, which soldier in the picture below is taller?

None. They're all the same size.

I never got that spinning girl illusion. Do you see it going both ways? I always see it turning one way. Do others see it differently, or is optical illusion fucking with me? Am I supposed to see it go both ways, or only whatever way my mind tells me?

I saw the girl turning one way, her body, her shadow and her leg that is pointing out all one way. (I think)

Oh and my favorite is the Jesus illusion. (it works done it thousands of times.)

I'll admit, the Jesus illusion fucking scared me at first. I just saw black and white, and all of sudden Jesus pops up. I was about to shit bricks. lol

Lol the Jesus illusion is my favorite illusion ever and I spent about a month looking for other illusions but they never got to me as well. I found that Jesus one about three years ago and I have seen it countless times since then.

Oh and another trick, 30 seconds at the four dots and you see him with your eyes closed slightly (not tightly squinting shut just closed softley) but if you stare at the dots for about 50 secs to about a minute, you don't need to close your eyes to see him. You can see him on any hard object that doesn't move like a wall or a table or something if you look at that object for a second or two he pops up there as well.

Stare at the girl closely, you're going to see that she is moving in one direction only.

Now change the direction, make yourself think that she is spinning the opposite way.

Holy shit. That was the 1st time I ever seen/did the Jeus one. But the one with the spinning girl, I saw no optical illusion in that, she was just spinning. And that one about the mixed up letters, I get that one alot in forword messages.

^ Lol this is like the fourth time I am saying it...the illusion is meant to be jesus.
Not sure how people know what Jesus looked like back in biblical times but that's how they think he looked like from movies and paintings and etc.

Same as the Jesus Illusion, only that it's less controversial.

Stare at the negative image of the Queen for about 1 minute
without moving your eyes. Then look at a blank sheet of paper
and you'll see the queen.

They keep on moving randomly.

Keep staring at the black dot below...

After a while the gray haze around it will appear to shrink.

Short-Circuit Your Brain

Look at the chart above and say the COLOR of the word,
not the word itself.. WITHOUT PAUSING.

Why is it so difficult? Because the right half of your brain
is trying to say the color, while the left side of your brain
is trying to say the word.
