One Last Run for Jeff Jarrett?

It has been close to two years since Jeff Jarrett has wrestled on TNA television. Initially when he was first written off television it was to work in AAA since TNA had a working relationship for them and then he oversaw Ring Ka King for TNA. Since then he has only worked behind the scenes for TNA, whilst also being ignored for the TNA HOF which is an issue for another thread HERE, but he hasn't been used at all as an on screen character. Does anyone else find it a bit odd especially with some of the recent angles which seemed to fit him perfectly. He could have easily been written in as Aces & Eights leader and he would have been a logical addition to Main Event Mafia to fight for TNA.

With Kurt Angle out in rehab, thanks to his latest arrest, MEM are missing their leader and are missing a fair bit of star power as well. They need a replacement and honestly I don't think that there is a better option than bringing Jeff Jarrett back in for one last run. He obviously fits the mainevent portion of the group name and it makes sense that he would want to return to rid TNA of Aces & Eights since they are trying to destroy what he created. It would be a good retirement storyline for him and I think that the fans would get behind him coming back one last time.

Do you think that Double J should return for one more run? Would you like to see him return as part of MEM to replace Angle?

I'd be down to see him return in place of Angle in the MEM because lets face it, he can't be any worse than whoever they are contemplating putting in his place.

I'd really like to see Jeff return, but I just don't see it happening anytime soon. The only place people are gonna be able to see Jeff wrestle from now on imo is obviously going to be AAA in Mexico.

Never cared for Jarrett.

Him going for another TNA run won't entice me to tune in tbh. Not sure what his on camera pressence would do for the company other than being another old guy taking up TV time, but its TNA and thats what they do.

Stick to his current job.

I just think Jarrett's time has come and gone, he had a decent career IMO and I don't think besides maybe boosting his ego than having him take Angle slot would add much. Just have Sting step up into the leader role until Kurt's return. Jarrett still has much to offer outside of the ring.

He never really got a proper sendoff though the first time around. He lost that match which sent him down to Mexico but that was it. They could milk out a short retirement style run, one last run for JJ before hanging up the boots for good in TNA (until another storyline presents itself for him to return). I think that fans would be up for it if they knew that it would only last for a couple of months and that he would be gone for good as a wrestler at the end of it.

Spike has to much control but Dixie gets the heat.

Putting UFC guys in TNA makes less sense then putting TNA guys in UFC

And finally he was asked by somebody: are they any comparisons between the running operations of TNA with those of WCW?

WCW had much deeper pockets. TNA never used the benefits of s studio.Green screen could have made The Impact Zone 15 000.

No thanks I've read enough from that waster, he totally screwed up his argument when he claimed that the numbers would climb with a Jarrett return.

As for what Troy said, I would be open to seeing Jarrett in a one off retirement match or mini-feud I just don't think he deserves to be in a headline slot.

That's how I read it.

There isn't anything he said that wasn't true. The Indy shows he works do sell more tickets than Impact tapings and waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more than houseshows.

Would like to see a greenscreened Impact tbh.
