Yeah people were worried about Mania but I think that went smoothly. I remember an initial panic bc traditional PPV providers were refusing to show them entirely bc they knew the network would take almost all their buys but then people were worried the network streaming would be shit yet couldn't even spend more money to buy them traditionally lol

I remember starting the PPV on the network and it was so bad that I had to find a stream.

I think the same thing for Mania too. I believe the network crapped out on me right before Brock beat Taker

I remember getting in an argument with my parents bc my little brother wanted them to order summerslam 2014 for his birthday and they were going to but it wasn't on PPV anymore and the network required a 6 month commitment at the time. I was like "so you'd pay $60 one time right now for one show but you won't pay $10 over the next 6 months for 6 shows?" And they were still like nah I don't trust it, so I said well fuck that and found a stream like I usually did but played it on the living room TV so my brother could watch and just told them don't worry about how I found it

And fast forward to now...somehow I'm the one paying for Peacock and my dad and brother both leach off my account

Finding out the streak was over via Twitter cause the network was dogshit in its infancy

Watching the streak end was such a surreal moment. I felt as if I lost a part of myself

I never had any real issue with the stream on the Network for any PPV/PLE.

And the first was officially NXT Arrival. Also if I recall Elimination Chamber was either not available on demand for like 3 months or something weird like that. It was available live but not after the fact.

I often wonder what would have happened if the cancer didn't happen.

I almost think he may have turned heel by Mania 35. If he did turn with Heyman as his Special Council would it have worked as well as it did in Summer 2020? I doubt it, as I think pandemic era Rasslin really helped Roman get over as a heel.

The night after Summerslam when he won the belt, Braun wanted to cash in on him. But Dean and Seth made the save.

I always say we got another heel run from the Shield with them protecting Roman and keeping the Universal title in house til Mania. Ambrose and Rollins pick up the tag titles and we don’t get the shitty Ambrose heel turn.
