Xander face comes shock with the choice his face going pale but as the decay starts to spread even more up his arm he knows it has to be done.

Xander: Alright look we got to cut it above the point right.

Xander points to his mid arm.

Xander: We need something to stop the bleeding, we need something to cut it with and something to cauterize the wound.

There is a melting furnence on the other side of the room that they can use. They grab a piece of metal and get it hot.

Xander: Alright... We need... We need... We need something to citvit with.

They look around and see a old paper cutter blade it looks dull they could use that

There is a little exacto knife sharp they could use as well though it may take longer to do its sharp can get the job done.

Oh god we are kinda pressed for time but trying to cut with a dull blade even if it's quicker might just kill him anyway but I'm also imagining the agony of using a tiny ass exacto knife to cut off someone's WHOLE ASS ARM I'm gonna let us talk about this one first before I make my decision

While time is of the essence, I would imagine it's not smart to use a dull instrument for surgical procedures.

That's where I was with this. You can't cut off an arm with a dull blade. There would be many complications. I would assume if it didn't kill him in the act, he'd probably get some kind of infection from the painful process of hacking through his arm with a dull ass blade.

Using a smaller blade wouldn't pleasant, but they do use scalpels for surgery. The sharpness is more important.

Yeah but he also said since it was smaller it'd take longer even though it was sharper so we might get attacked while trying to cut off with the exacto. I'm still leaning towards it though.

If we're worried about time, we should have just left him. If we're going to cut off his arm, it should be done properly.

Kinda my logic too, I just wanted to make sure everyone understood the possible consequences of either decision. I'm still going with exacto tho
