Locking the door means forsaking him but you're away from the shadow. The other one means you confront the shadow but while ignoring xandar. At least that's how I interpreted it.

Thinking about yourself will probably get you killed since I assume his first aid strength must come in handy at some point.

Ashley rushes to Xander helping him up he is injured . Ashley helps him up and goes back torwards the door as the shadow is now seen as Mr. Graves inching closer to the door as Ashley and them try and get there.

Sylar: I am sorry!

Sylar yells locking the door. Mr. Graves now focused on Ashley & Xander rush at them as Ashley & Xander pause.

Ashley & Xander go off and into another room Mr. Graves not far behind. There is two different paths they can go the first is to what looks like an art room. The second looks like a greenhouse.
