Highlights: So this would be PAC basically telling All Elite to go fuck themselves in opening promo. Page would say he is sorry for leaving Kenny high and dry and that he can explain his action's next week on AEW. Bea Priestly has been entered in a fatal four way match that will be for AEW Women's Championship at Joker's Wild (Preshow most likely cause these fans hate women wrestling) Moxley informs Luther that hes gonna kick his ass on Dynamite. Austin Aries wins the last spot in the 10 man battle royal will be entry #10. He proceeds to beat the living shit out of Matt Hardy to set an example out of.

AEW Dynamite

August 2020 Week 2

Colt Cabana is in the ring as we are welcomed to AEW. We are set to get under way the 10 Man Battle Royal for a spot in the Dealer's Choice Match as Billy entrance music goes off but, he is nowhere to be seen. A few moments later he is seen hurling into the AEW arena as Billy the #2 entry . A few seconds later Lance Archer has thrown Billy with that inverted razor's edge onto the pavement and rolls into the ring telling the official to ring the damn bell. Jake Roberts has a sick twisted smile on the ramp as Archer makes quick work of Colt. Luchasarus music hits as Jake smiles showing him the way to the ring where Archer stands tall. Archer takes out Lucha before he can get in the ring with a series of shots and then tosses him out. JR states that Archer was suppose to be in the main event against Cage what the hell is this man doing? Tony S states he is doing whatever he wants and ask if he is gonna try and stop him?

10 Man Casino Battle Royal

So to continue with this match Archer would end up getting a series of eliminations taking out Starks, Colt, Luchasarus, Hendry, Spears and Aries. Pentagon Jr would take out Hager & Cobb and Aries would takeout Jr. Matt Hardy would come down to distract Aries which allows a huge kick to have Archer win the match. Hardy & Aries would fight out of the arena as the match ends with Archer as now in Dealer's Choice Match.

Kurt Angle announces the signing of one of the biggest free agents in wrestling who has signed an exclusive deal with AEW Tessa Blanchard. Tessa will make her debut next week and will be in the fatal four way for the AEW Women's Championship along with Shida & Bea.

Ford states she is not impressed by Tessa Blanchard and doesn't understand how she gets special treatment when Ford has worked her ass off to get here and goes on to state how it must be nice to be able to get what you want based off of your family name she states next week when she beats Tessa maybe then Kurt will put her in the match.

AEW Light Heavyweight Championship
Lio Rush (c) vs. Daniels

In a good match with a decent amount of back and forth and good story telling Rush was able to get the W over Daniels. Daniels would nearly win following a BME but, Rush was able to get his foot on the rope and Daniels would succumb to the pure speed coming from Rush.

Sammy Guevera is in the ring and states that Chris Jericho wanted Sammy to come out here and prove to the world why he is dubbed the "Spanish God" he states that he is going to make Chris proud and that he is challenging any loser in the back to face him cue....

Kenny Omega & Adam Page in tow the AEW Tag Team Champions and state that he is here to face Sammy. Page hypes up Omega as he stands outside the ring for this match.

Kenny Omega w/Adam Page vs. Sammy Guevera

In a decent match with good wrestling Omega would come up short following a series of events including Adam Page unable to help as Sammy used the ropes for leverage after Page who thought Omega had the match at hand would leave after receiving a text message he would once again take off backstage and exit the arena. Omega would be looking around after the match for his partner.

Omega who would be looking to see where Page is at finally gives up goes up the ramp only to be attacked by The Lucha Bros!

They would beat the shit out of him before grabbing the championship and holding it high making very clear their intent.

MJF & Wardlow vs. Miro Day

In a match that was ok and was hurt more due to AEW protecting MJF Miro Day wins following a Machka Kick to Wardlow. English would be involved and was said to look alright but, in the end it was still a somewhat disappointing match.

Brodie Lee tells Mr. Darby Allin that he is disappointed he said while Brodie is destined to be the holder of the Dealer's Choice Card Mr. Allin is set to be watching from the sidelines. This is not Lee fault this is all Darby fault. Darby let his pride his indivuality when he could be strong could be fighting for the cause that is The Dark Order. Lee would go on to mock him so more to the point where Darby Allin would make an appearance.

Darby Allin & Brodie Lee start trading shots with one another as the fight breaks out Lee tells him this is on you Allin I offered you the world and you shit in my hands. Allin just states that he is never gonna join his cult. He is his own man.

Cody w/Arn Anderson vs. Michael Elgin

Elgin picks up the W after destroying Cody. Arn on the outside is heard very loudly as he seems to be pretty pissed off and excepts more out of Cody going so far as to leave the ring throwing his chart to the ground as Elgin causes Cody to have a stoppage after Dustin throws in the towel to save his brother.

We see the camera's as Cody is in the locker room with Arn. There is a knock at the door as Tully & Spears walk in talking with one another as Spears and Cody both stop talking as they see each other Spears and Cody try to leave as Tully & Arn tell them to sit there asses down. They go on to say how these two have been on losing streaks as of late and how the two of them choose to work with Spears & Cody because they thought there something special that they saw something in them some place where the titans are didnt see in them but, it would seem that maybe they were right cause they bring what they have been in the ring with attitudes and the loser mentality then AEW & the two legacies of Spears & Cody are going to be set in stone and that it will be another somber funeral of what could have been. They state that they talked with one another and stated that things they are apart of don't die and that they are forever. They state that the two of them are coming together and so are the two of you and you may not like each other and frankly they don't care because you are going to be teaming up with each other next week as you face The Young Bucks. They argue but, eventually agree as they both leave Arn and Tully look at each other before...

Moxley makes short work of Luther and mocks him asking where this he is? Moxley would then proceed to just basically toy with Luther before dropping him with a Death Rider

Mox would call out Cage stating he did not forget about him as he spoke he would turn to the booth where Taz is doing commentary and state that he seen what he said and if he thinks he is not taking the machine serious then he doesn't really know him and while other entity's maybe trying to haunt or scare him at the end of the day he is here to defend this AEW Championship.

With Archer nowhere to be found for the main event Dustin states to Kurt that he will face Cage in that ring and that he will beat the machine that he feels he needs the challenge to bring out the very best Dustin Rhodes at Joker's Wild.

Brian Cage w/Taz vs. Dustin Rhodes

Cage wins after a wild brawl style match in which Dustin nearly wins but, Elgin the a hole would cause a distraction and Cage would hit Weapon X. Dustin would look fatigued in the match but, he also would fight throw it and show great showcases of movement for a guy his age. Cage looked like a beast and him and Taz got great chemistry.

Brian Pillman Jr. Ends Handshake Deal With AEW officially signs with MLW Exclusively
In a surprise to me Jr. stated he like to focus on MLW which they gave him a 22K month contract for 3 years. I couldnt match that given where he be pushed on show but I did have huge plans for him once Blacklist Hollywood (Janela and him) AEW wishes him nothing but the best.
