A fan on Twitter asked former WCW and WWE star Bill Goldberg if he could spear anyone in WWE, who would it be? Goldberg replied and said Triple H:
"Hunter.....hands down.....RT"

The fan replied with the following tweet and Goldberg said his observation was "spot on":

"any particular reason or just the overall doucheness and politicking he exhibits?"

Another fan asked Goldberg when he would be coming back to WWE. He replied, "When they learn how to run a business."

Finally, a fan asked Goldberg if he would come back to WWE and feud with Ryback. The former World Heavyweight Champion replied, ".....if they knew how to do business I'd consider it....."

Come on now. Goldbergs will he won't he is getting more than a little old now. He was active for all of 7 years, now due to great booking he was an awesome character. It's been almost ten years since he's wrestled we're further away now from when he was active then his actually being active. Every what 3 months we get him putting his inputs about the wrestling industry including whether or not he return. At this point I'm over him. Even if he were to make a return it'd probably be something like The Rock or Lesnar probably less so. So Goldberg I'm done now would you pah lease shut the hell up.

Your thoughts?

Biggest Diva in the history of wrestling. He comes into the WWE beats Rock, Jericho, wins WWE Title, gets to squash all of Evolution by himself numerous times, squashes anyone who ins't a Main Eventer. But its still not enough for him, he wanted to go 300-0, win every Title and be given ownership of WWE.

I'm curious what he wanted done differently, I dont know if he's ever spoken specifically on it. He's never really been a fan of the WWE, Vince, Trips. He was pretty critical of them before he got hired by the WWE. Though I wonder how much any of what he says is very honest. It strikes me as a guy that's still on the work. I think he didn't like his job or certain aspects of it. And probably didn't like certain directions the business went back in his day. But I wonder if that's just more talk to keep his name out there.

Realistically what could they do with a guy that didn't want to work many shows and even took weeks off when he was filming movies. His being in the WWE renewed interest in him altogether, got him some roles in some awful movies, but did get him something nonetheless. But when you do almost nothing but win, can't see how his character wasn't being protected.

If the WWE were really going to play hardball business with him, it would have demanded a hell of a lot more work out of the guy, esp when he actually showed up to the ring.

To be fair his WWE run was handled horribly, it seemed like one long tedious feud with Triple H. Fair enough there were a few other mini-storylines in between, but he was wasted.

You cant really waste a guy that can only wrestle for 30 seconds tops before he looks lost and confused and doesn't know what to do next.

Meh, the guy is and would be pretty much irrelevant if he returned anyway. Especially when you look at who has come back over the past few years to be associated with WWE. I mean, Bret Hart himself returned (even if it resulted in some rather meh moments and a pretty bad wrestlemania match). Fans were always wondering if he'd ever return in any shape or form and when he did there was HUGE excitement amongst fans.

Then The Rock (the guy who had pretty much distanced himself for almost a decade) suddenly pulled a 180 and started contributing -first as host and then even as a wrestler. Fans were excited about that too (though once again that actually changed particularly when he actually got into the ring for some people). Then finally Brock Lesnar and even Paul Heyman came back, especially after the controversial standoff between himself and Taker at that UFC event. All in all, that's a crap load of "possibly never again" returns!

At best (for him) he might have some fans get excited over the novelty idea of a return (nowhere near as much as it would have been before all these other large returns), but essentially I don't see it being too big of a deal. Fans are feeling spoilt as is and even if WWE were to relent, I don't see it being that much better than any of those other returns.

I'm just wondering what his definition of doing business right is, far as I know he wasn't much of a business minded person and quite frankly a mark who bought into his own hype. Eric Bischoff himself said he considers Goldberg a good froend, but would rather chew his arm off instead of working with him.

"When they learn how to run a business."

I'm pretty sure they've learned how to do that Bill. Otherwise I don't think they'd be around after all these years and selling out an 80,000 seat stadium just last month.

Don't worry though am sure another Best of WCW DVD will come out soon showing how to run a business.......into the ground.

After being handed one of the biggest pushes in wrestling history anything less than that is going to probably be seen as a step down in his eyes so it never shocked me to hear him talk bad about WWE who brought him in to be apart of the company rather than the face of it.

I stopped reading when Goldberg mentioned that WWE can't run a company. I'm sure they're currently proving him wrong and if he was there he'd just be a pain in the ass and wouldn't put over "actual" talent anyways.

This.

The asshole has ZERO respect for the business. It's no wonder he's not one of the "boys" and that everyone can't stand his self-aggrandizing ass. Don't come back Bill, Robert, or Bob or whatever the fuck your first name is.

I'd still pop like a bitch for a Rumble return culminating in a WrestleMania match.

WWE is already looking into getting too many partimers. Goldberg would do nothing for them, as he was never that big in WWE because he didn't stick around because they decided they wanted him to lose a match and he flipped a bitch. I bet if he returns he'd want to win both world titles, at the same time, and beat Undertaker at WrestleMania. Oh, while beating Ryback in the opening match. Cause he's the greatest of all time.

Stay home Bill. I wouldn't even mark for a Royal Rumble entry. I'd be happier to see some NXT nobody enter the Rumble then seeing that crybaby there.

Tapout you say some of the dumbest shit.

What world do you live in where a jobber off nXt is more exciting than a Goldberg return. Dog on him being a big guy all you want but he was the must see guy in wrestling in the late 90's.
