I read it right the first time.

They always start with him wondering if he is still a monster or "the fire still burns within". He always eventually snaps, gets some heat for a while, and then the fans start cheering for him anyway before he becomes full fledged face again. He will probably do something crazy after MITB, and I just hope they don't pull some bs jealous of Taker rehash for some sslam cash.

I hope I'm wrong though. I have no problem with them giving him an edge again, but keep him face because SD really needs a number 2 guy in that role who is over with the fans, experienced, and can put in solid work every week

Dark Match:

* Michael McGillicutty beat Trent Baretta

SmackDown, Airing Friday:

* SmackDown opens with Randy Orton sitting on a chair in the ring with the mic. He talks about the current state of the WWE. He calls out Christian and here comes the World Heavyweight Champion. Christian says Randy needs to work on his anger problem. They go back and forth for a bit, until Orton gets pissed and heads up the ramp only to be stopped by Teddy Long. Long says Randy will get a rematch but not tonight as he's already agreed to face Kane in a street fight. He asks Orton to be the bigger man and walk away but Orton goes for Christian. The officials restrain him and Long informs Christian he'll be facing Ezekiel Jackson after the break.

* World Champion Christian beat Intercontinental Champion Ezekiel Jackson with the Killswitch after a back and forth match with mixed crowd reaction for Christian. Anyone remember when these two faced off for who would be remembered as the last ever ECW Champion? Me neither.

* Michael Cole is in the ring and invites Smackdown's Mr. Money in the Bank, Daniel Bryan out. He comes out and Cole rips him for a while. Bryan says he doesn't care what Cole thinks. Bryan talks about the physical sacrifices he's made to get to the WWE. Bryan says he's going to the first champion to announce when he's going to cash in ahead of time because apparently he's never heard of Rob Van Dam. He announces he's cashing in April 1st in Miami at WrestleMania and fulfill his lifetime dream. Out comes Heath Slater for some unfathomable reason. He gives a heel promo and they start a match. I'm guessing there will be commercials during this match.

* Daniel Bryan beat Heath Slater with some submission move I didn't recognize (not the LaBelle Lock). This was a pretty decent match considering Heath Slater was involved. The crowd liked Bryan but Heath's involvement minimized crowd reaction somewhat.

* Matt Striker interviews Mark Henry backstage. Mark Henry says he has no regrets and everyone should fear him.

* Wade Barrett and Sheamus went to a double count out. They continued brawling after the match and eventually ended up back in the ring where Barrett ate a Brogue Kick. Seemed like Sheamus may be in the midst of a slow face turn.

* Kane gives a backstage promo saying he'll use Randy Orton to kill his humanity and be a monster again.

* Randy Orton beat Kane in a street fight after an RKO onto a chair. Match saw Kane kick out of an RKO and Randy kick out of a chokeslam. Crowd was much more into this match than anything preceding it. Afterward Kane offered his hand and Randy shook it. Kane looked devastated by the loss.

Mark Henry came out and attacked Kane, doing the splash onto the chair around the ankle that he did to Big Show at MITB. Refs came to check on Kane and I assume this was the end of the TV taping.

Pretty much expected Kane to be taken out by Henry as they are going the same route like they did in 06 where Henry took out guys who needed time off anyways. Per usual lately show looks just okay to solid.

Sheamus turning face? hopefully not. And the show looks decent we'll see Friday though.

* Triple H came out to open the show and said he re-signed CM Punk to a WWE contract on Monday night. When he talked about the state of the World title, World Heavyweight Champion Christian came out and cut a promo. Hunter announced he'll defend the title against Randy Orton in a No Holds Barred Match at SummerSlam.

* R-Truth comes out and starts talking conspiracy and little Jimmy's. Hunter informs him that he will face Randy Orton tonight. He also said that Christian will face John Morrison and that match is up next.

* World Heavyweight Champion Christian vs. John Morrison. Winner via Kill Switch, Christian.

* Wade Barrett comes out and cuts a promo on Daniel Bryan. Bryan comes out and says Heath Slater cut the same promo last week and he made him tap out. Barrett punches him and taunts him with his own Money in the Bank briefcase. Daniel eventually counters and puts Barrett in the LeBell Lock.

* Backstage, Teddy Long is talking to Zack Ryder. Mark Henry walks up to them and Ryder tells him that he will find him an opponent.

* AJ, Natalya & Kaitlyn vs. Tamina, Alicia Fox & Rosa Mendes. Winners after Alicia Fox pinned AJ, Alica Fox, Tamina & Rosa Mendes.

* Mark Heny b. Bobby Howard (local worker) w/Zack Ryder

* Backstage, Triple H makes Zack Ryder Teddy Long's assistant.

* WWE Tag Team Champions David Otunga & Michael McGillicutty vs. The Uso's. Winners after the McGillicutter on Jey Uso, David Otunga & Michael McGillicutty.

* Backstage, Johnny Curtis says he will make his Smackdown debut next week.

* The Raw Rebound airs showing Rey Mysterio Winning the WWE Championship, Jim Ross returning, John Cena vs. Mysterio, Cena winning the WWE Championship and CM Punk returning.

* Backstage, Matt Striker interviews R-Truth. R-Truth says a good R-Truth is a bad R-Truth. He says he's like an eagle swooping down and grabbing a snake like a viper.

* Cody Rhodes w/Ted DiBiase b. WWE Intercontinental Champion Ezekiel Jackson after hitting Cross Rhodes in a non-title match.

* Jinder Mahal and The Great Khali cut a promo in Punjabi from the second level of the arena. "USA" chants fill the arena.

* Randy Orton vs. R-Truth. I'm told Truth had a lot of heat on him. World Heavyweight Champion Christian comes out to watch the match from the top of the ramp. R-Truth gets the win via disqualification when Orton uses a chair. After the match, Orton hits an RKO on R-Truth on the announce table, breaking it.

HHH starts off the show in the ring talking about the title situation on Raw. He is interrupted by Christian who welcomes him to SD. HHH says its a slap in the face to interrupt him & tells him at SummerSlam he'll be defending his title against Randy Orton in a No Holds Barred match.

R-Truth comes out & says he followed HHH from Raw & talks about the conspiracy against him. HHH makes a match for tonight, R-Truth vs. Orton. He tells Christian he brought someone from Raw to face him, John Morrison. They have a good match, Christian wins with his finisher.

Backstage Teddy Long is with HHH & Zack Ryder interrupts them. HHH says he's gotta take a call but appoints Ryder as Teddy's assistant.

Wade Barrett is in the ring talking about how he should have won MITB & gotten a WrestleMania paycheck, not Daniel Bryan. Bryan interrupts & says he's gonna main event Mania. Barrett attacks him. Bryan is able to get the LaBell lock on him, Barrett taps & Bryan lets him go.

Backstage Mark Henry walks into Long's office & wants a match. Long says no one wants to get in the ring w/ him after what he did to Big Show & Kane. Ryder says he'll find him an opponent.

Tamina, Rosa & Alicia Fox def Kaitlyn, AJ & Natalya.

Video package on Justin Gabriel is shown (highlights of WWE's recent tour of South Africa).

Mark Henry defeated local guy Bobby Howard. After the match he tries to attack him with a chair but Long comes out & stops him. He says there's already one lawsuit pending & he'll find him competition. Sheamus comes out & says if he wants competition he'll fight him & slaps him. Henry goes after him but Sheamus throws him over top rope. Sheamus tries to hit him w/ chair but Henry leaves.

New Nexus defeated The Usos in a title match, so they kept the titles.

Backstage Ryder tells Long he made a match for tonight, Ezekiel Jackson vs. Ted DiBiase & Cody Rhodes in a handicap match.

Backstage Striker interviews R-Truth. Truth says he's ready for his match with Orton tonight.

Cody & DiBiase def Zeke.

Jinder Mahal & The Great Khali appear in crowd & talk Indian to the crowd so I don't know what was said. Everyone booed.

In the main event, Truth beat Orton via DQ.

* Sheamus vs. Mark Henry is announced for SummerSlam and Sheamus vs. The Great Khali is announced for tonight.

* Sheamus beat The Great Khali.

* Natalya beat AJ Lee and turned heel.

* Daniel Bryan debuts a new theme song before facing Tyson Kidd.

* Zack Ryder brings out WWE Intercontinental Champion Ezekiel Jackson but is interrupted by Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes. Teddy Long interrupts them and announces Ryder vs. Zeke.

* Ezekiel Jackson beat Zack Ryder.

* Ryder is now apparently known as Dwight Schrut, Assistant to the GM unless I missed something. Triple H came out, had the cameras cut off and hit Ryder with a Pedigree.

* Teddy Long had a new Diva assistant it looks like.

* Mark Henry squashes Vladimir Kozlov and beats him up until Sheamus makes the save.

* David Otunga, Michael McGillicutty and JTG beat The Usos and Trent Baretta.

* Main event time with Randy Orton and John Morrison vs. Christian and R-Truth. Truth and Christian get the win after Christian pins Orton.

Looks an interesting SD does this. Nattie heel, more Sheamus face development & Bryan new music (Y)

That Ryder/HHH stuff confuses me. First Beth heel now Natalya interesting. And since when did JTG become a heel.

Nattie as heel, Sheamus regaining his badass status, and DBD's new music all interest me. Everything else looks a bit iffy, but it will be an interesting SD for sure.
