Some of you guys can never be happy. Like it or not, original or not, let's review what just happened.

(1) Daniel Bryan beat Cena clean. He took his best moves and won. He kicked out of the AA, got out of the STF, and still won.
(2) Daniel Bryan is the most over face in the WWE. Not just one of the most over. When the shock wears off, 100% of the WWE face-loving universe (which is approximately 80% of WWE fans), along with the majority of the non-face-loving WWE universe, will be 100% behind Daniel Bryan. The number 2 face is once again CM Punk, who was probably just a little more over after his match against Lesnar earlier in the evening. This cements DBD as the number one face while Cena's away and gives him a leg up on Cena when he returns.
(3) Randy Orton has finally turned heel. This was, by definition, a phantom turn as it will cause Orton to behave in no way differently.
(4) We once again have a true heel authority figure in HHH. The Attitude Era gave us Stone Cold vs. Vince. Now, we have Daniel Bryan vs. HHH (I know, Bryan's no Stone Cold...bullshit argument...sorry if that offends you, but it's the truth...come at me with something stronger than that).
(5) And, for the most imprtant part, WWE is giving us a compelling storyline with a strong hero and a strong villain. We have a good guy we can root for and who we believe can beat anybody and a bad guy who we'll love to hate and who we believe can beat anybody. This is what's called Storytelling 101.

In short, relax, boys and girls. This is how you construct a story.

And, for a nice change, it's actually looking like it could be an entertaining one.

I'm sorry The only thing that an ending like that means, is a short reign for Randy, followed by an inevitable longer reign for Bryan. It's far too predictable. Bryan fans (ie. 95% of the WWE Universe in attendance) were just robbed of a fairly decent payoff. Yes, of course he'll get a longer reign in the future, but this just seems pointless, really pointless and boring.

That's not my point, man.

Then what is?

That it was predictable?

Dude, there are six stories from which all fiction (and most of history) comes. Six.

Good vs. evil, bad guy vs. good guy, let's compare the Daniel Bryan Saga to Star Wars.

Episode IV: Daniel Bryan beats John Cena
Episode V: Daniel Bryan gets betrayed and the Empire (the McMahons...HHH personally) gets the better of him
Episode VI (yet to come): Daniel Bryan wins in the end.

I'm sorry if you don't like the story or "want something better". It's just not going to happen, because "better" doesn't really exist. Tonight we got compelling. If you're not happy, there's really no pleasing you.

I feel like we were robbed of a really good pay off (tonight) in substitute for the standard generic storylines. DB going over clean on Cena would have been beautiful wrestling to me personally.( and it did happen) Sorry that you disagree, and I explained it in my initial reply to you.

We just agree to disagree. You wanted pure wrestling and got storyline. I wanted a mix of the two and got it. You're unhappy; I'm happy.

But I'm sorry you're unhappy. I guess I'm just a pleaser and I want all to share in my joy, no matter how unrealistic that hope is.

My hope is unrealistic? That's really disconcerning to me to believe that you think my opinion on an outcome of a match is unrealistic, simply based on the fact that I wanted the night to end a certain way. The ground work was laid out, and it could have been a good story that was told in the ring, about a wrestler who gained the respect of another in a victory, ending there.

The only unrealistic part about it is that the second Orton won MITB, it was pretty easy to see that he was going heel ,and winning the title. We all wanted Orton heel anyways, right?
You don't have to agree with me, but wishing for something else doesn't feel so unrealistic to me.( well besides the fact it didn't happen) Sorry but i'm not sorry.

This is going to offend you, but you really need to re-read what I wrote.

My hope that everyone enjoy what I enjoy is what I called unrealistic. It was a dig at myself, not at you.

I know, it's kinda like explaining the joke, but...

That probably offended you, too. Oh, well.

Whatever. Don't be sorry. I really don't care.

Live in peace, friend.

Oh, sorry about that. My bad, have a little bit of a headache myself. Take care my friend.

Trust me though, nothing anyone says on here can offend me. I don't care what anyone thinks besides a select few.
