So was it really that predictable? They played you like puppets (they played me like a puppet) with all the spectacle. Brilliantly done.

Yes it was, the only thing that I didn't expect was the fireworks. I didn't want it to happen but we all knew it. Cmon now.

It was the logical emotional spike to take the audience on. It generated great emotion (look at yourself for example, your playing into their hands). WWE turned us all into marks. They made us feel. This is why they are the number 1 company in the world.

Some of you guys can never be happy. Like it or not, original or not, let's review what just happened.

(1) Daniel Bryan beat Cena clean. He took his best moves and won. He kicked out of the AA, got out of the STF, and still won.
(2) Daniel Bryan is the most over face in the WWE. Not just one of the most over. When the shock wears off, 100% of the WWE face-loving universe (which is approximately 80% of WWE fans), along with the majority of the non-face-loving WWE universe, will be 100% behind Daniel Bryan. The number 2 face is once again CM Punk, who was probably just a little more over after his match against Lesnar earlier in the evening. This cements DBD as the number one face while Cena's away and gives him a leg up on Cena when he returns.
(3) Randy Orton has finally turned heel. This was, by definition, a phantom turn as it will cause Orton to behave in no way differently.
(4) We once again have a true heel authority figure in HHH. The Attitude Era gave us Stone Cold vs. Vince. Now, we have Daniel Bryan vs. HHH (I know, Bryan's no Stone Cold...bullshit argument...sorry if that offends you, but it's the truth...come at me with something stronger than that).
(5) And, for the most imprtant part, WWE is giving us a compelling storyline with a strong hero and a strong villain. We have a good guy we can root for and who we believe can beat anybody and a bad guy who we'll love to hate and who we believe can beat anybody. This is what's called Storytelling 101.

In short, relax, boys and girls. This is how you construct a story.

And, for a nice change, it's actually looking like it could be an entertaining one.

Don't normally post that often, but that ending was worth every single penny of the SBO fee. The best bit of booking in a long, long time. If you can't see how this works out best then your clueless to the pros and cons of Wrestling.

Heel Orton, Vince and H together is booking gold for months to come.

The only thing that could have made that better would have been if Cena/HHH turned together and beat down Bryan before aligning with Orton.

I honestly wasn't expecting HHH to turn, tbh. Predictable or not, this will be good in the long run. Also, I'm a fucking pessimist and even I was marking over Bryan's win, and hey we're all raging over Orton cashing in. So either way they're getting exactly the reaction they want, lol.

You don't understand my style of posting. I play a character on here, and that's a mark. I don't really care that much to be honest. It's predictable. I'll admit they got me with the fireworks and stuff that's it.

Randy: Hey Triple H, I know i put your life through hell, but we should join forces.

HHH: You're right. It's not like you ever done anything to my family, right?

Randy: Yeah, you're right.

This was arguably the best PPV WWE has done this year in my opinion.

That probably set up a Daniel Bryan WM moment if the rivalry really lasts that long. I could see it though, this is going to be a fun ride.
