I disagree. I think the fact that we get a quick turn around makes it feel more realistic. I've seen NFL teams have a meaningless week 17 match because they were already locked in to play each other in week 1 of the playoffs. It happens. As I've said of Joe already in this thread he is a master of keeping his matches fresh. I have no doubts that the match will be unique and not follow the same pattern as the match from Impact.

__________

As far as the match losing anything.. how?? the winner moves on to the finals of what they've been going after for 3+ months. The match has still been built to be more important than any other match that were built from a feud

I think my "meaning less" mention is out of context, but that's irrelevant. Perhaps I'm seeing it wrong. I'm old-fashioned that I don't just like the story behind a match, I actually like the ring psychology. I guess if anyone can keep the psychology fresh just after wrestling them 3 days prior, it's Joe. I can give more feedback once I see the match, which of course I'm still excited for. My picky self is just critiquing something that in my opinion could have been done better. Though saying that, I'm not sure how far advanced they book stories. I know WWE does it pretty much on the day of shows which I'm SO against. If this was planned weeks/months before then it was a bad error, if not then it's a slight damper to an already fantastic series.

Either way, Joe needs the win. I love how he's been built recently, back to his old self it seems. I'm sure TNA hasn't done that for no reason, so I'm confident in a Joe win. Though my last two PPV predictions have been SO poor, so it's probably going to be the opposite :((

I think Joe/Storm is all but a lock. they've clearly been the two getting the rub from the BFG Series this year, which is great. Who wins that match I'm unsure of. I'm about 70/30 Storm/Joe on who I think will win.

Ugh I hope you're wrong. My unpopular opinion is that I just don't find Storm entertaining at all. I'm waiting for hate. Joe > Storm though, I'd mark for Joe/Aries too.

Though I actually agree with you, I can see Storm/Aries being the typical face v face match for such a big PPV.

I don't see how you can't like Storm. He is great. Good in the ring and excellent on the mic. Everything he does is very believable IMO

I'm calling Hardy, Hardy/Aries is the biggest draw and they have barely looked at each other. As critical as I've been with his WWE spot oriented offense, surely they'll make this work. Hope Joe wins just like the rest of you guys but wouldn't complain with anyone.

Card looks solid, Magnus better go over Van Dam, Magnus or Roode better get involved in their rivals' BFG matches (not both :russo:)
Really curious about Armbreaker... and the rematch of the MOTY so far (AJ and Angle vs Kaz and Daniels) will be sick.

Great to see a good KO's match on the card, Tara please win the belt and face Gail at BFG
And nice to know the X-Division still exists, that match will be nuts.

He's the best mic worker in TNA. Yeah, he yells too much, but you believe and get sucked into anything he does. If he wasn't a part of it, Aces and Eights wouldn't be nearly as over as it is.

My personal opinion on Storm is that I love his ring work. On the mic he isn't some sort of messiah like guys like Punk, Sandow, Aries and Roode are or have been painted as, he is good borderline great but not fantastic in my opinion. What draws me into Storm's promos is that he sounds believable and human. It doesn't sound like some grand speech like when Punk or Sandow talk, it sounds like a dude speaking his mind to me. And that is what sells Storm's mic work to me.

I agree with all this.

It's not like I rage when he's on, I find him enjoyable I just don't see the it factor that many people mark for. I think he's above average on the mic, believable but not flawless. Big fan of his ring work though. I just think there's a few better than him worthy of the pushes. I rate Aries, Roode, Anderson (waiting for hate, btw just on the mic), Ray, Joe, Angle and Styles all over Storm.
